What are benefits and drawbacks of buying in Los Altos?
Los Altos is an amazing city with excellent schools, beautiful parks, an exciting downtown, and wonderful central location to many tech companies. Residents enjoy lots of year around activities such as farmers markets, a concert series in the summer, and parades during the holidays that are especially attractive to families. The drawback is price as home values have increased significantly.

Let's Visit Palo Alto, CA
Situated in Silicon Valley, Palo Alto, CA is more than just a city with many corporate headquarters. The city has some great parks, a great downtown area (including a farmer's market which I check out), the Birthplace of Silicon Valley or the HP Garage, and the beautiful El Palo Alto, a tall redwood tree which gave Palo Alto its name.

Santa Clara River: Protect it!
Facebook Page:
The Santa Clara River is one of only two natural flowing rivers left in Southern California. Pollution unfortunately takes it's toll on the river as it flows through Santa Clarita, and other areas. The water is pure at it's beginning, but Nitrate levels explode due to agricultural run off by the time it reaches the ocean! We can protect our river by simply making sure things like trash are thrown away, and that we don't dump things into the river. Participating in river clean ups is a huge deal as well, and can make a huge impact!
The Nicavangelists perform in downtown Palo Alto
The Nicavangelists, a group of at-risk, orphaned youths from Nicaragua, perform in Lytton Plaza in downtown Palo Alto.
The at-risk youth come from the streets of Managua, Nicaragua where they experience gang violence, trafficking, and prostitution. Through the program they are provided food, housing and education. Touring the United States, they are home schooled in between performances. Based on the East Coast they head to Los Angeles on Friday to compete in a dance competition, then off to performances in Nevada, Colorado, among other states.
