Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, developed by Soleil Ltd. and published by Namco-Bandai, is an upcoming multiplayer online video game set to release in North America and Europe on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows in August 2018. Players will go head-to-head in 4 versus 4 battles, with all eight players fighting simultaneously. The game will also let the player create their own character for the very first time. The timeline of this game takes place when Naruto is the Seventh Hokage and Konohagakure are hosting the Chūnin Exams. It will include English and Japanese voices as well as text in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, and Polish. Characters are defined into four categories: Attack types for close range, speed, and offence, defence types rely on strong attacks with a emphasis on defending allies and using techniques to gain advantages in different game modes. Ranged types excel at firing large projectiles for the team. Heal Types are characters designed to support the team with healing jutsu or their own special techniques. Players will compete in various multiplayer game modes such as Barrier, Base, Combat and many others which will rely on teamwork and skill to see which team comes out on top. Players can also team up to take on AI enemies such as tailed beasts in the Sub-Mission mode. The original characters will serve as mentors who the player can independently choose to learn jutsu from and equip to their arsenal for use in combat for their player avatar.

This video shows the area around the headquarters of Japan's Shochiku Corporation, a huge entertainment conglomerate that runs the major kabuki theatres in downtown Tokyo. You can see the building in which the Shochiku Otani Library is located, the Shinbashi Enbujo, the Kabuki-za, and the Togeki (Tokyo Gekijo), all located within a short distance from one another.

M.U.G.E.N is a 2D fighting game engine, originally released in 1999.
M.U.G.E.N was originally designed for users to create games that
matched the technology level of 2D fighters from the mid '90s.
However, it quickly evolved to become highly customizable, allowing
very fine control over each character's behavior. In fact, there
are custom games for M.U.G.E.N that don't behave like your typical 2D
fighter.
The majority of content created for M.U.G.E.N tend to be distributed
as individual characters, stages or motifs (motifs are like themes,
that control the look and feel of the game). Assembling a game is as
simple as downloading the content of your choice, and configuring
M.U.G.E.N to know about it.
M.U.G.E.N is designed to be used by people with little or no
programming experience, but with some artistic talent and patience to
learn. Of course, having some programming background does give you a
bit of a headstart. However, if you are just looking to play with
downloaded content, all you need to know is how to unzip files and
edit a text file.
M.U.G.E.N is also an acroymn for something, but we forgot
what it is. :)
Here's a sampling of features you can find in M.U.G.E.N:
- Customizable title screen, character select screen, life and power
bars, game sound effects, fonts and more.
- Characters can have any number of sounds and sprites of any size
limited by your computer's memory.
- Choose from multiple resolutions, ranging from 320x240 up to full
HD at 1920x1080.
- Cutscenes.
Game Engine
- Use up to 7 buttons for a character.
- Regular moves, special moves, super moves, etc.
- Projectiles and special effects.
- Move cancels and combos, multi-part moves and throws.
- What your character can do is defined by a scripting language (and
your imagination).
