Last Day in Napier New Zealand
December 6th 2017, Getting up so early to make the sunrise video meant I slept the morning away.
In the heat of the afternoon I done a little shopping, washing and packing ready to move on tomorrow. After a quick splash in the sea, I phoned around some of the folk that have helped and are helping me on my way, thank you all for your kindness, you know who you are, without you this trip would not have been possible.
Big thank you also to Lisa & Marcus, of the wonderful YHA hostel here, who lent me one of the hire bikes and made it possible to zip round all the locations in this video. People are so good to me, I am truly blessed.
Love, Peace & Unity through Cooperation to us all ????❤️????????!

6 Kuku Street, Te Awanga, Hastings, Hawkes Bay
Living the coastal dream, Kuku street Te Awanga
It's not often properties come up for sale in Kuku street, so don't miss your opportunity to secure your own piece of paradise!
This solidly built, 1950s, two bedroom home is screaming out for some good old fashioned TLC.
This rustic gem features a large, 1001 square metre section, offering plenty of space and endless opportunities for all your family requirements. Beautifully positioned to the north west, the sun streams into the dining room and moves around to the front of the house, creating an abundance of natural light and warmth. The timber bi-fold windows in the dining room and lounge bring the outdoors into the open plan living area. There is wood burner to keep you cosy and warm all winter, a separate toilet, a bathroom, a laundry and an outside toilet adjacent to the shedding. The garage sits to the east of the house, which is separate from the home, making the perfect studio, sleep out or garage as intended.
Te Awanga is approximately 15 minutes drive from Hastings and Napier. It sits as the premier coastal location within the Hawkes Bay, while still holding onto its old world charm of narrow green streets and extensive grass verges.
The serene lifestyle this property offers is truly magical, as Cape Kidnappers is a quad bike ride from Kuku Street, the coastal cycle way goes past the front gate, and the two coastal wineries of Clearview Estate and Elephant Hill are within walking distance.
If you’re after a property offering a tranquil lifestyle, this is a must view! Call Alvin or Jamey today!

A Day Off in Napier | MYGF_DIARY | video + blog | 014
this is what to do on our off day in Napier!
six sisters coffee house is a small coffee shop located in the early-20th century villa style house on the Marine Parade. you can start your day by having breakfast and a cup of coffee in here.
after that you can hire a bike at marine parade, they do have scooter, long board and electronic stuff too, that is beside the Ocean Spa.
this is a must-do if you live in Hastings.
the sunday farmers market at Hastings.
There's nothing fresher or finer than a barrow load of food from The Hawke's Bay Farmers' Markets!
Shop for a wide range of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, bread, eggs, pickles and preserves straight from the producer.
A visit to Hawke's Bay is completed by a shopping spree at one of our Farmers' Markets.
here is the location:
HAWKE'S BAY FARMERS' MARKET (Hawke's Bay Showgrounds, Kenilworth Rd, Hastings) - Every Sunday, 8.30am - 12.30pm
NAPIER URBAN FARMERS' MARKET (Clive Square, Napier), Every Saturday 9am - 1pm
Bluff Hill Lookout
The drive up the hill is a bit tight, so look out for traffic. The view was nice, however you can't see the main part of Napier from this point.
It's a good spot to visit because it only takes 5 minutes to get to from Napier.
last but not least is the Te Mata Peak
a peak south of Hastings rising up to 399m in the Hawke's Bay region of New Zealand. A sealed road leads to the popular lookout at the summit, as well as several trails for hikers and mountain bikers.
that's it for today, more video and blog coming soon !!
