Istanbul Nightlife Guide

I spent two months living in Istanbul, Turkey and wanted to create something to showcase the incredible nightlife this city has to offer.
As I say in the video, there are literally hundreds of places to go out in Istanbul, between the mega clubs of Ortakoy to the rooftop bars of Taksim and Galata.
If you have other nightlife suggestions for Istanbul, please leave them in the comments below and I will add them to the full guide on my travel blog - Tourist2Townie.com.

TURKEY KUSADASI 2019 | NATIONAL PARK | HOLIDAYS | [VLOG]
Hello People ????
I am happy you joined me to watch this brand new Youtube video ????
In this weeks video I would like to present you a National Park which is located in Guzelcamli/Kusadasi in Turkey. The full name of this park is Dilek Peninsula Buyuk Menderes Delta National Park ????️
I wandered a bit around but couldn’t see any interesting animals. Last year I had the chance to see some wild pigs. Nevertheless I tried to give you some information and also tried to swim at a very windy evening. Below you have some precise information about the National Park:
10 reasons to visit Dilek Peninsula National Park
Dilek Peninsula-Büyük Menderes Delta National Park is a park that encompasses an entire stunning peninsula in Kuşadası, right along the Aegean. It’s one of the most biologically diverse parks in the world, with hundreds of species of birds, mammals, plants and aquatic life that live in the park, some of which exist exclusively in this park anywhere in the world. It is internationally protected and of course is immensely important to conservationists the world over.
1- Almost all of Turkish plant-life can thrive here
2- It’s like an open-air zoo without any cages
3- There’s so much to do
Fishing, cycling, picnicking, nature walks, photography, wildlife walks, bird watching, swimming, admiring the scenery, and paragliding are all popular activities that you can do essentially year round from this incredible park.
4- Natural beauty of Dilek Peninsula-Büyük Menderes Delta National Park
5- The ancient city of Karina
6- The Panionium
7- Doğanbey Village
8- The crystal clear sea of Dilek peninsula
9- Olukludere Canyon
10- Last but not least – those amazing sunsets
The park is one of the westernmost tips of Turkey, and the sunsets are amazing.
If you would like to check out the exact location on the map:

TURKEY - Troy and Trojan Horse
The name Troy mentions:
- The legend of the Trojan War,
- The Archeological side in Hisarlik, Canakkale Turkey,
- The movie named “Troy,”
The legend of the Trojan War:
In Greek mythology, the Trojan War was between the Greek and the kingdom of Troy.
The war started after the Prince Paris of Troy abducted the queen Helen from her husband Menelaus, king of Sparta. It took years. After using wooden Horse tactic, the war ended.
The Troy Archeological Site:
The Troy is the ancient city of the early Bronze Age in Hisarlik, Canakkale Turkey.
Other names for Troy include Hisarlik - Turkish, Ilion - Greek and Ilium - Roman.
The Land of Troy was first excavated in 1860s and continued throughout the 20th century and go on to the present day.
The Archeologists discovered nine major cities of the ancient site and labeled Troy I to IX.
The movie called “Troy,”
The “Troy” movie is based on Homer's Iliad. It released in May 2004.
The Trojan horse used in the movie donated to the city of Canakkale in Turkey where the ancient Troy city founded.

Travel Video - Los Angeles California with timelapses in 4K
This short travel video will give you an overview of 48 hours of Los Angeles (L.A.) in 120 seconds.
Including time-lapse video shot in 4K. This is the third installment of a series of travel videos about California.Los Angeles California Travel Video, experience two days in two minutes!
Check out this cool video to see many of attractions in Los Angeles in only 120 seconds:
Stop 3 on our tour of California:
Los Angeles was the third stop on our tour of California. The first two stops were in San Diego and La Jolla. However, we had two days to explore the City of Angeles and get some great footage and pictures.
We stayed near Manhattan Beach so our first stop was sharing a fresh New-York style pizza pie on the pier as the sun was setting. An old woman in a red sweatshirt spent the whole time going up and down the pier fishing. She made me nervous because she did overhead casting...quite dangerous for pedestrians walking past. It was cloudy, but the sunset was nice anyways.
Hollywood
Travel Video-California-Los angeles-HollywoodWe got a very early start and made it across town to Hollywood before anything was open. The big tour buses had yet arrived and it was nice but strange to be able to walk up and down the strip and taking touristy pics of the stars without having to compete with other tourists. I am not a fan of Hollywood but it was nice paying my respects to the great Robin Williams, RIP. Of course we walked by Chan's Theater and the Kodak Theater, but we did not have time to go to West Hollywood which seemed to have a mix of the seedy side of Hollywood and the posh Beverly hills.
Downtown L.A.
We were even early enough to get to downtown before rush hour to see the Union Station, the majestic L.A. City Hall, the Walk Disney Concert Hall building (featured in one of the timelapse videos) which was designed by Frank Gehry, the Broad building with a creative exterior, etc. (Note: it would have saved time going to downtown first, then Hollywood and on to Griffith Park.)
Griffith Observatory
We had to fight traffic to get back across town to the Griffith Park to see the Griffith Observatory and the views of L.A. from above, but we made it before lunch. The Observatory was not open that early so we just enjoyed having lunch while taking in the city (what could be seen through the gray haze :-). I got a couple good videos of the building and the view over the smog covered valley before taking off for our next destination.
Beverly Hills
After driving around the nice neighborhood for a few minutes we parked near Rodeo Drive and walked around Beverly Hills. It was primary voting day so there were cameras at the poling station to catch some rich and famous in the act. We enjoyed doing people watching as much as making fun of the crazy overpriced shops. The visit ended with a rest stop in a trendy organic juice shop that was a disaster... we had to wait almost half an hour for a juice and coffee, but the cups were biodegradable plastic, so we had that...
Santa Monica
It was a short drive down to the beach in Santa Monica. We did not know it but Barney Sanders was there and the MSNBC crew was shooting live from the Santa Monica Pier. Being in California for the primary election was exciting, but we were tourists... and it was just a side-show for us. After chilling on the beach for an hour we headed out for our last stop before heading back to the hotel...
Venice Beach
We got to Venice beach just before sunset so many of the shops were already closing down, the tourists were taking off for less colorful night-time locations and we felt like we had the Venice Beach freak-show all to ourselves. Muscle beach was already closed but we did get to see a Mexican pop band filming a music video and hang out at the skate park for the sunset and a cool time-lapse. The street art was a highlight, but it is a location that has already matured, with top street artists and a feeling that it was more trendy than edgy.
Malibu
After a quick dinner of Mexican food we crashed in the hotel and we were up bright and early to cross LA before the traffic and get into Malibu before anyone woke. The sky was gray and overcast...as is the norm for the California coastline in June and the views were not so spectacular. My favorite moment was seeing this classic car with a huge dog poking its' head out the window in a Jack in the Box parking lot... Sorry, no pics of Hollywood stars running along the beach in a bikini... maybe next time ;-)
If you have not seen it yet, check out the first video in the series: San Diego Travel Video, 24 hours in 60 seconds.
The second instalment: Next: Sea Kayaking with the Seals and Sea Lions in La Jolla California.
Next (part 4) Covers our stay in Monterrey... stay tuned!
See you soon!
