Japanese Street Food Tour of Ameyoko Market (アメ横) | Tokyo, Japan
Come join us for a Japanese Street Food Tour of Ameyoko Market (アメ横) located in Tokyo, Japan. This busy street market situated in between Ueno and Okachimachi stations is often referred to as Ameyoko (アメ横) which means Candy Store Alley. Aside from street food you can also clothes, bags and cosmetics along with spices, dried food, fish and a whole lot more. Typically the market is open between 10:00 to 22:00 (shops close earlier on Wednesdays) but your best bet for eating Japanese Street Food would be in the late afternoon or early evening. All in all we tried the following street food items:
1) Takyoyaki (たこ焼き) Octopus ball shaped snacks served with bonito flakes and sauces - 200 Yen ($1.77 USD)
2) Arirang Hotdog - Korean style street food hot dog deep-fried in batter with various toppings - 430 Yen ($3.81 USD)
3) Chocolate dipped fruit on a skewer (bananas and strawberries) - 300 to 350 Yen ($2.66 to 3.10 USD)
4) Spicy Japanese hot pot including various ingredients - 600 Yen ($5.33 USD)
5) Japanese Beer - I honestly forget the price but I think it might have been roughly 400 Yen ($3.55)
6) Yakitori 焼き鳥) - Japanese skewered chicken and other assorted meats - 150 to 200 Yen ($1.33 $1.77)
7) Japanese soft-serve ice cream - 250 Yen ($2.22)

Japanese Street Food Tour of Ameyoko Market (アメ横) | Tokyo, Japan Travel Video Transcript:
The food adventures continues. Today we are bringing you to Ameya-Yokochō (アメヤ横丁) another market here in Tokyo. Apparently this one is known as Candy Seller Alley (Ameyoko - アメ横)) and they sell a lot of sweets. I've read that after the war this was kind of like the black market where you could come to buy your sweet potatoes and your sugar. You know kind of luxury items at the time. But we've been walking around here and we're seeing lots of clothes, lots of shoes. We've seen a few sweets. I'm hoping we stumble upon more. But yeah it should be a fun and tasty video.
We found a stand that was serving up Takoyaki which are the little balls pancake balls with octopus. And this is something we ate a lot in Osaka. This is actually where the dish originates. So yeah we're just going to be dressing this putting on some condiments and digging in.
So here we go. We put some of that barbecue flavored sauce, some mayo, some bonito flakes.
Second food item and we still haven't gotten anything sweet. No. We've gone for Korean street food now. Yeah this one caught our eye and this one is called they sell Arirang Hot Dogs. The name of the business. And they sell different kinds of breaded hot dogs and the one that I think I ordered is going to have cheddar.
Time for me to try the chocolate covered banana. This looks so good. Look at all of those sprinkles just covered in chocolate.
So we decided to get some Yakitori meat to go along with our beers. I believe we have what is chicken and it is like doused in this sweet sauce. We've already had a bite. Woah! Sam has got chicken skin.
We got two ice creams for dessert. This is the first one. It is Matcha Vanilla. This one is for you Sam.
And I have some chocolate vanilla coming any second now.
Alright guys so that concludes are street food video. It turns out they don't have as many sweets and desserts as I thought they would but we still had a good time. Got to try some new dishes. So I hope you enjoyed that and stick around for more Tokyo videos coming up soon.
This is part of our Travel in Japan video series showcasing Japanese food, Japanese culture and Japanese cuisine.

Walking in Ueno, Tokyo - Ameyoko market street & Ueno Park - Fujifilm X-T3 - 4K 60 FPS
Ueno is one of the most important transportation hubs in northern Tokyo. Here, many important lines, both JR and Tokyo Metro meet. Thanks to the many people passing through every day, the area has also turned into a major entertainment and shopping hub.
Next to the JR train tracks, you will find one of the biggest open-air markets in Tokyo - Ameyoko (a shortened version of the official name, Ameyokocho). Hundreds of small shops, selling everything from fresh seafood to clothes, golfing equipment and souvenirs, have gathered along this street, popular among both locals and tourists alike.
Ueno is also home to one of the biggest parks in Tokyo - Ueno Park. In the park, you will find several shrines and temples, tennis courts, food trucks a zoo and several major museums.
In this video, I pass through most of Ameyoko, as well as parts of Ueno Park.

Tokyo Evening Walk - Ueno - 4K 60 FPS (Slow TV)
In this video I'm taking you through many of the streets filled with restaurants, nightlife and entertainment in Ueno, one of the biggest transportation hubs in northern Tokyo. The walk starts at JR Ueno Station, and ends at Okachimachi, after passing through most of the major spots on the way. I also pass through the Ameyoko market street, just as the shop owners are about to close up for the day.
If you're visiting Tokyo, this is one of the areas I recommend that you check out, especially on weekend evenings, as the atmosphere is very special due to the large number of people dining and drinking outside.

Shinjuku, Tokyo - Kabukicho, Ichiran Ramen, Golden Gai | Japan travel guide (vlog 4)
Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan! Shinjuku is one of the most unique districts in Tokyo. It's where you find Kabukicho (the famous red-light district), Godzilla head, Omoide Yokocho (Piss Alley), Golden Gai and, why not? Ichiran Ramen. This is not an attraction per se, but Ichiran Ramen restaurant is also considered by many a must-visit in Tokyo, whether you do it in Shinjuku or another district. Japan ramen is really delicious! If you're in Japan for the Rugby World Cup 2019, make sure you visit Shinjuku.
We start by visiting the observation deck of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building. Totally free and really nice view! From there we pass in front of Shinjuku station, the busiest transport hub in the world, and keep walking to Omoide Yokocho or Piss Alley (the famed drinking street). We then cross Kabukicho, the well-known red-light district in Tokyo, see the Godzilla head come alive, walk through Golden Gai alleyways and finally end up at Ichiran Ramen for an enormous and fantastic bowl of ramen.

► WHO AM I?
Short answer: I am a Brazilian journalist living in the United States. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged the life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!
Detailed answer: ????
P.S.: The guy who occasionally appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and is extremely camera shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time ;-)

Located just a few blocks away from the Auga fish market in Aomori City, the Furukawa fish market is maybe by far the most interesting market of the whole area. Indeed, unlike any other fish market in Japan, the Furukawa fish market gives you the possibility to create your own seafood donburi known as nokkedon. Acting like a restaurant, visitors of the Furukawa fish market can choose whatever they want to eat directly from any stall open that day within the market itself!

GIANT RIBS IN SHIBUYA | Bob's Ribs part 1
I left nothing to chance and went for maximum food volume, visiting a restaurant with the slogan Fat Bob sends ribs with love!
Fat Bob's ribs are 1.5 pounds of garlicky goodness! It's intended to feed two or three people, but of course you could take the challenge all on your own.
It's even presented on a bed of french fries in case you've got room left over. Bring on the wine!
In addition to this branch in Shibuya which was just renovated, there's also one in Sangenjaya.

Tokyo Hidden Spots | Exploring Tokyo’s Local Traditional Old Towns Yanesen(YanakaGinza,Nezu,Sendagi)
Went exploring the old Tokyo area (Yanesen) and tried the different types of Japanese street food!
Tokyo may have a very modern image to most but if you just go a little bit away from the popular tourist areas you will see a totally different side of Tokyo - a more local, quiet, tradtional side.
I love exploring and seeing this side of Tokyo because you can see and learn much more than what's on the surface.
So, if you guys come to Tokyo or live here - try escaping the crowds and get lost in the local backstreets and see what interesting stuff pops up :)
A lot of Japan's traditional side is lost in Tokyo because of what is shown on the media but I hope this video shows you guys a different side of what Tokyo has to offer!!

Hope to show you guys more of these hidden spots in Japan!

My first day in JAPAN 4K: Tokyo, Kamakura and Eno Island - Knowing the Japanese Culture
Hey guys!
This was my first day in Japan Tokyo! I was so excited to see my beautiful girlfriend again :) and getting to know her culture was one of my best experiences in my life.
For this first days, we took a look at the least touristic stuff because we were going to meet my family afterward and they definitely wanted to do those too, and it was the BEST! Being able to go at a slow pace, just enjoying the beautiful things about this awesome country… ow!!
We went to a day trip in Kamakura, which has one of the biggest Buda that I’ve seen in my life (Kotokuin temple), it’s a beautiful countryside town, full of typical Japanese style houses and it’s relatively close to Tokyo. We did a bit of a hike and I was literally melting, the humidity in Japan is not a joke but it was a perfect day hehehe.
After this, we went to Eno Island, which has some caves where you can go inside and you will have little candles to go around them… really cool. There are more videos coming about Japan so if you enjoyed the video don’t forget to give it a like and subscribe so you don’t miss them.

COMER BARATO EN TOKIO Y EL MERCADO AMEYOKOCHO
Suscribete Haciendo Click Aquí::::

1 Hour Evening Walk in Shinjuku, Tokyo - Fujifilm X-T3 - 4K 60 FPS
Another long walk through one of the most iconic areas of Tokyo. This time me and my camera are exploring the area around Shinjuku Station - The biggest train station in the entire world.
The walk starts near the east exit of Shinjuku station. From there I head north to Kabukicho, the infamous red light district of Tokyo, that is today more akin to your average tourist trap and best avoided. After Kabukicho I head south, passing through the newly developed (and oddly named) NeWoMan shopping mall. Apparently their christmas illuminations was installed this very day, so you'll get a view of those in this video too.
Next, I head to the western part of Shinjuku station, where many of the best camera shops in Tokyo are located. This night is also popular with the local salaryman crowd for evening dinner and drinks. I continue the walk past Omoide Yokocho (aka Piss Alley), the famous drinking alley next to Shinjuku Station. From there I pass under the train tracks and head back to the east side of the station, where this walk ends.
This was filmed with a Fujifilm X-T3 in 4K 60FPS. The lens used is a Samyang 12mm F2, and the camera was mounted on a Zhiyun Crane for stability.
Shot in F-Log and graded in Adobe Premiere CC.
I hope you like this travel video from Tokyo. Please let me know if there are any other places you would like to see me visit, or if you have any other opinions about my movies.
Thank you for watching, and please subscribe to my channel if you want to see more travel videos from Japan like this.
Please note that it takes several days from upload until YouTube has processed the 4K video stream and made it viewable. So if it's not available by the time you watch this, please check again later.
Golden town- Shinjuku-Tokyo
It is a restaurant area located in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
A narrow section of about 0.66 ha is lined with low-rise wooden tenements, and there are over 200 small eating places.
In the past, there were a lot of distinctive shops such as Society of writers and critics Bar, and it was known that a lot of cultural people such as writers, editors, film directors and actors gather as regular customers.
From such a background, it has become one of the origins of subculture and underground art in Tokyo.

Tokyo Station & Marunouchi - 丸の内 - 4K Ultra HD
Originally built in 1914, Tokyo Station, or Tokyo-Eki, is Japan busiest station in terms of number of trains per day. According to Wikipedia, over 3,000 trains pass through the station every single day. Tokyo Station also holds a special place in the hearts of Tokyo residents. Despite being over 100 years old, the main building still remains the same and is actually one of Tokyo’s architectural treasures thanks to its unique design and brick walls.
Located a few hundreds meters away from the Imperial Palace and in the Marunouchi business district, Tokyo Station is worth checking by day or by night.
Once done, make sure to roam around Marunouchi where you will find other gorgeous European-style red brick buildings, a whole host of trendy stores and restaurants as well as a hidden garden too often ignored by tourists.
