These are two brand new modern apartments that have just finished construction and are ready to be booked in one of the best central locations in Guiones. LEARNING TO SURF IN NOSARA, COSTA RICA | OUR ADVENTURE
Nosara, Costa Rica was rated one of World's 20 Best Surf Towns by National Geographic, so Rich and the boys decided to give it a try! Based on Yelp reviews, we chose to take lessons at Coconut Harry's (okay, maybe we choose them because they have a yummy taco shop at their main location. It's called Taco Taco and it was delicious). Coconut Harry's offers group and private lessons for all levels of surfers. Rich hadn't been on a surfboard in 20 years and this was our boys' first time.

This video shows International Living editor Suzan Haskins on the beach in the south end of Playa Pelada, located in Nosara along the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica's Nicoya Peninsula.
Suzan and Dan are in Costa Rica on a scouting trip for International Living. Before this video was shot, Suzan says they had just been to see some lots about a mile from here that were selling for $35,000. You can read all about their trip in an upcoming issue of International Living magazine.
In the video, Suzan says north but she means south when she's talking about this stretch of Playa Pelada, but it's just as beautiful as the northern playa. The surfing is comparatively better down the beach at Playa Guiones, but if you're not a surfer, Playas Peladas fits the beach bill perfectly.
