Highest Point: 5920 ft
Dog Friendly: No (in Mount Rainier National Park)
Recreation Pass: America the Beautiful Pass or pay for a day pass at the ranger station
THE BEST DAY EVER! This hike was truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. We started early (at 5 AM) so we could see sunrise on Rainier. Right as we got up to the base of Plummer Peak, the clouds cleared and we could see the red/orange reflection of sunrise on Rainier. We looked south and we could see Mount Adams, Mount St. Helens, and Mount Hood! The trail down to the lake very steep and has lots of loose rock. This section of the hike requires more skills and could potentially be very dangerous so be careful at this spot.

EMF Session - Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse
This was my first time using my EMF meter at this location. The spirit believed to dwell at the steakhouse was said to just leave a permanent hand print on a wall inside, so I didn't have high expectations. My session resulted is seeing only two clear spikes, but the timing of these spikes was rather uncanny. Not sure when or if I will try this again at this location.

You never quite know how the video will turn out with a complex Litchi Mission until you fly it. There is a flaw in Virtual Litchi Mission. With VLM it shows the aircraft gradually changing heading from one waypoint to the next waypoint that has a different heading. In actual flight the aircraft will not start to change heading until the aircraft arrives where the curve begins on the next waypoint.
Later, the flaw in Virtual Litchi Mission was pointed out and the developer corrected with
version 2.4.0 I 'm making some changes in the flight plan and will fly this mission again.

White Pinnacle Peak FKT!!!
In this episode I set the FKT (Fastest Known Time) on my favorite peak, White Pinnacle Peak. It involves Trailrunning, Rock scrambling, and rock climbing to reach the summit. It is about 2.5 miles and over 1600’ of elevation gain. I have climbed this mountain over 10 times but have never been able to break the 1 hour mark. Today I did it!! Follow along as I Scramble my way to the top of White Pinnacle Peak from First Creek Canyon Trailhead off of highway 159 in Red Rock Canyon outside of Las Vegas Nevada.
