Point Bonita Lighthouse in Sausalito, CA
If you're visiting San Francisco, CA, cross the Golden Gate Bridge over to Sausalito to tour the Point Bonita Lighthouse. Currently, only opens Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Admission is free. Avoid weekend holidays to escape the crowds of tourists. There you can tour the inside of the lighthouse, see gorgeous views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, the vast Pacific Ocean and its magnificent coastal shoreline. When it's windy, it's loads of fun crossing the suspension bridge ;-)
Tired? Drive down the cliffs to Rodeo Beach for some rest and relaxing.

I arrived at the gate of Lighthouse on Sunday exactly at 12:30 pm but it was closed due to Government shut down.
