Prague ZOO - 5th best ZOO according to Tripadvisor! Great place for spending a free afternoon or even whole day. Kids are also welcome and will definitely have fun there meanwhile the parents can have a rest.
Botanical garden is a peaceful place to have a walk or attend some events they organize.
Troja is a part of Prague where you can find the ZOO and Botanical garden but it offers much more, it is located next to the river where it is possible to do watersport or many other sports next to the river.

Franciscan Garden is a historic park in New Town (Prague 1), which lies between Wenceslas Square and Jungmann Square near the Church of Our Lady of the Snows.It is a baroque garden of French style with regular layout, square pavilion stands in the middle and around the herbal garden, enclosed by a low fence. The garden includes a children's playground. The gardens are planted with hedges and roses, it houses numerous benches and sculptural fountain.

Wallenstein Garden is one of the most distinctive gardens of the early Baroque. Located in Prague's Mala Strana and is part of the Wallenstein Palace, which was established as the seat of the Czech Senate.
Valdštejnská zahrada je jedna z nejvýraznějších staveb českého raného baroka. Nachází v Praze na Malé Straně a je součástí areálu Valdštejnského paláce, který byl ustaven jako sídlo Senátu Parlamentu České republiky. To the north of the castle and of the stag moat, the Royal garden was created around 1540 based on the project by Emperor Ferdinand I of Habsburg, in place of a former vineyard. There are seven gardens surrounding the Prague Castle. The Royal Garden is historically the most valuable of them. Originally a Renaissance garden, with some beautiful pieces of architecture inspired by Italian influences, it used to be a place, where the king and his family relaxed, played games and raised exotic plants. There is an exceptional Renaissance building the Royal Summer Residence, the Royal Ball Game Hall and some valuable Renaissance and Baroque sculptures and fountains.

*Vrtba Garden One of the most important and most beautiful Baroque gardens created thanks to the clever solution of František Maximilian Kaňka around 1720. It’s one of the city’s smaller gardens, but its unique architectural design on an irregular slope as well as the artistic and historical value of its decoration ranks it high in importance in Europe.

This complex of interconnected historical gardens (Ledeburg, Small and Large Palffy, Kolovrat and Small Fürstenberg Garden) is situated on the southern slopes below Prague Castle. All of these palatial terrace gardens have a rich architectural decoration, decorative staircases, balustrades, scenic terraces, garden-houses and pavilions carefully integrated into the vegetation to create a picturesque whole. Concerts and social events are often held here.
