Tour our Sanford Winery Tasting Room
Inspired by the California mission-style, our new Sanford tasting room is a two-story structure built from natureâs finest raw materials, including 100-year-old reclaimed barn wood from Washington State. These timbers were also used to build the adjacent winery. The foundation of the building is constructed from native California stone and the buildingâs exterior is comprised of more than 15,000 handmade adobe bricks.

Robledo 2005 Los Braceros
Robledo's 2005 'Los Braceros' Red Blend honors the historical Bracero Program that enabled thousands of Latino laborers to work in California agriculture during World War II. The Sonoma Valley wine industry greatly benefited from this Bracero Program, and can attribute much of its success to the hard work of Bracero workers. Robledo Family Winery started the 'Los Braceros' (literally, strong shoulders) wine program in 2004 when they were presented with some excellent fruit, and they have since carried on the tradition to produce a 'Los Braceros' wine each vintage. This rich, flavorful Red Blend comprises Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah, and the result is truly distinctive to Sonoma Valley and to the Robledo Family Winery. Bright red garnet in color, the Los Braceros Red Blend has luscious aromas of black currant, ripe plum and hints of tobacco with balanced flavors of ripe black fruit and cedar on the palate. The finish lingers with a spicy peppery note that asks for Mexican beef empanadas or anything off the barbecue. Robledo Family Winery's 2005 'Los Braceros' Red Blend was awarded a Best of Class and Gold Medal from the Los Angeles International Wine Competition in addition to a Gold Medal from the Florida State Fair Wine Competition. An excellent achievement from Robledo Family Winery with a wonderful story behind it. Aged 18 months in oak. Enjoy now though 2015.
