Family travel blog -
Nearly 2 years living in Almuñécar, Spain along the Southern Costa Tropical of Granada. See how the kids adjusted to living in Spain, hear them speak Spanish. From June 2014 - June 2105 it was time to hit the road and be Nomadic! Moving around from place to place in Southeast Asia. They embraced the Asian culture and ate bugs, went on scooters, scary bus rides and enjoyed the tropical bliss. Home was where ever they were at the time. In June 2015 they returned to Spain and will continue to share it all with you, cost of living, adventures, travel with kids, education abroad, the works!

#SPAIN SCOOTERS
Madrid's government banned electric scooters from sidewalks on Wednesday (October 24) as one of a number of restrictive measures against new transport technologies as part of a fight to cut rising levels of air pollution in the city.
The new law follows similar regulation in France after companies such as Lime flooded European cities with thousands of e-scooters in recent months amid surging demand.
Madrid has been struggling to reduce one of Europe's highest levels of pollution, which exceeded limits for every month in 2017, however, the sudden rise in use of the skateboard-like scooters has prompted concerns over their danger to pedestrians.
For some, however, the new regulations which move the scooters, some of which can travel at speeds topping 60 kilometres per hour, off the sidewalk do not resolve the issue of safety.
They are going to need good insurance, taxi driver Juan Rodriguez said, adding the move is dangerous for both car and scooter users alike. The local government will have to rethink the measure once someone gets killed (by accident) on the road, he added.
The measures are an attempt to regulate public and private transport, bicycles, private vehicles, and electric scooters, all of which will be forced to share Madrid streets at a maximum speed of 30 kilometres per hour.
