2012 Denzel Smith Highlights
Highlights of Danville High School's Denzel Smith. Smith is a 6'6 small forward in the 2014 class. These highlights are from a head to head matchup with Champaign Centennial's 6'9 forward Michael Finke, 4 star class of 2014 prospect. Denzel scored 28 points and pulled down better than 10 rebounds in the matchup.
Smith is a skilled, active forward that can play and defend multiple positions. He's a lefty that shoots it well from the three and the midrange and has the ability to score off the dribble. Denzel sees the floor well, is unselfish, and rebounds well.

University of West Florida (UWF) and Intensive English Program (IEP)
The University of West Florida is a creative, student-centered state institution focused on excellence. At UWF, our highest priorities are our students and the academic programs that serve them. The faculty, staff and students at UWF are not here to merely do what's been done before. Individual attention from a world-class faculty in a warm and caring environment is the essence of UWF. Our mission is to empower each individual we serve with knowledge and opportunity to contribute responsibly and creatively to a complex world. The University of West Florida, with campuses in Pensacola and along the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida, is one of the region's prized resources. UWF is a member of the State University System of Florida. The Florida legislature established the university in 1963, ground was broken in 1965 and classes began in the fall of 1967. Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2007, UWF has three colleges, Arts and Sciences, Business and Professional Studies, and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. UWF serves a student population of approximately 10,500. One of UWF's most acclaimed features is its beautiful main campus, a 1,600-acre nature preserve of rolling hills and natural woodland along the Escambia River 10 miles north of downtown Pensacola. UWFs facilities have been designed to complement the natural beauty of this wildlife preserve and bird sanctuary. In addition to its main campus, UWF serves students east of Santa Rosa County at UWF Emerald Coast locations in Fort Walton Beach, Eglin Air Force Base, Hurlburt Field and shared facilities at regional community colleges. And, UWF owns waterfront beach property on Santa Rosa Island that is available for recreational, academic and research pursuits. In downtown Pensacola, the university manages 24 historic properties, which are being transformed into a living laboratory for students interested in history, archaeology and tourism. Programs are being developed to maximize the use of these facilities and to integrate the university more deeply into the economic development of Northwest Florida. The University offers undergraduate degrees in 50 different areas with 107 specializations, master's degrees in 24 different areas with 56 specializations, two specialist degrees and a doctorate in education with seven specializations. Long celebrated for its caring, nurturing approach to helping students excel in and out of the classroom as they prepare to become contributing members of society, UWF has embraced Making Way for Excellence, a culture-changing campus renaissance and quest to be recognized as one of the best places to work and best regional comprehensive university in the nation. The University of West Florida also offers an Intensive English Program designed to help non-native speakers develop English skills for personal, academic, and professional purposes. Students who do not have the required English language proficiency, but wish to enter a degree program at the University of West Florida, may be conditionally admitted to the University. A student will be accepted for admission to UWF pending successful completion of the Intensive English Program.

BEER RUM & ROCK N ROLL - EPISODE 1
Welcome to Beer Rum & Rock N Roll. A rock music podcast with Beau Shiminsky and Randy Legault. Keeping rock alive - one conversation at a time.
Randy Legault is a serious motherfucker when it comes to rock music, owns a video editing company 'Legault Post' and enjoys Beer. He's a good boy, crazy 'bout Elvis. Loves Zeppelin and his lovely wife too. A true defender of the faith with a serious arsenal of knowledge that is fun tapping into.
Beau Shiminsky came out of the womb kicking and screaming and naturally the music bug hit early. By 14 he started a punk band and has turned it to 11 ever since. The love of music lead to a career in Scoring Films and Audio Post-Production at his Studio 'Ear Candy'.
Comfortably numb with a rum and a whole lotta love for Rock N Roll.
In Episode 1 Beau and Randy talk about what sparked their love of music, which bands fueled that fire and some early concert experiences.
It's happy hour! Subscribe now and join us.
