Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve - Costa Rica
Santa Elena Reserve boasts a diversity of birds and animals such as the Quetzal, the Three-wattled Bellbird and the Coati. The ecology is completely different from the Monteverde Reserve side.
Recommendation: Always use a certified guide, it's a richer experience of the tropical cloud forest.

In the central highlands lies the famous cloud forests Monte Verde Santa Elena. The forests gets its water from the air so get dressed in rainproof gear. There is a magic mood in the forests - we preferred Santa Elena as it gave the best views. We stayed in Arco Iris Ecolodge that was some of the best we tried in Costa Rica. Great breakfast!

We did a morning hike in the cloudforest of Santa Elena cloud forest reserve, Costa Rica.

This video is jam packed of activities to do in Monteverde, Costa Rica. We decided to visit another rainforest, and this time with a guide. We visited Santa Elena Cloud Forest, and loved it!
We were so excited because we saw some wildlife with the help of our guide Guillermo! On another video, we went to Monteverde Cloud Forest. If you're looking into visiting one or two cloud forests, we highly recommend you watching it! Here's the link:
After a beautiful hike through the cloud forest, we did the 100% Aventura! And it really was 100% worth of fun and exciting adventure! a handful of ziplines including the longest zipline in Latin America!!! And the crazy Tarzan Swing!! It was so much fun!
After all that adrenaline, we went ahead and did a creepy and eerie night hike!
Also, a miracle happened about our lost drone! An angel arrived!

San Jose Costa Rica to Monteverde by bus | Santa Elena Natural Bridge
Monteverde is the main location in Costa Rica to view the cloud forest. Most people who want to visit the cloud forests stay in the small town of Santa Elena.
In this episode we leave Costa Rica's capital city - San Jose and take a bus to the town of Santa Elena, Monteverde. There were some great views on the bus. We take a walk around Santa Elena and after some lunch we head off to find the not so well know natural bridge - who's location is really only known by locals. Well worth a visit if you can find it.

Santa Elena, Monteverde
Monteverde es una ciudad en el noroeste montañoso de Costa Rica. Es reconocida por sus bosques biodiversos en las nubes. La famosa Reserva Bosque Nuboso Monteverde alberga una infinidad de especies de fauna que incluye jaguares, ocelotes y el quetzal resplandeciente de plumas coloridas. En los marcados senderos de la reserva se pueden ver helechos y orquídeas, y hay puentes colgantes a gran altura que permiten caminar por sobre el follaje del bosque.

A must see park central north in Costa Rica. Well marked and maintained trails. Don't need a guide. If you're really interested download info before you go. It allows you to be on your time and hang out where you want. This park I don't remember if they checked our backpacks for food. At any rate we had a picnic. Didn't see any Sloths at this park so don't get a kink in your neck. This is where the warmer Caribbean air and the Cooler Pacific Breezes collide to create an almost constant mist.
