Chichibu Night Festival of Japan
This famous Japanese Festival celebrates the annual meeting of a female goddess in Chichbu Shrine and God of Mt Buko. This crowded street was filled with excitement and happiness. This video highlights the competition between floats from different parts of Chichibu City.
DIARY OF A SHINJUKU THIEF by OSHIMA Nagisa - Japanese Film Festival Singapore 2010
A boy is caught by girl stealing a book in Shinjuku's Kinokuniya. Kinokuniya's owner lets the boy off, and gives him money with an instruction to him and the girl to have fun with it. This film is about a boy and girl in search of their rightful moment of sexual ecstasy. Shot hand-held in the streets, it captures Shinjuku in 1968 and its student riots, as the two young people come into contact with characters -- actors, critics, bookstore owner, sexologist - who play themselves under their own names, speaking at times with impromptu lines. The demonstrations more or less accidentally filmed, reflects the turbulence of the place and time. The film reflects the aimless energy of the time and charts this confusion.

Unagi (うなぎ) - GRILLED EEL Japanese Food at Obana Restaurant (尾花) in Tokyo, Japan!

Unagi (うなぎ) is freshwater eel and it’s a real delicacy in Japan. There are many many restaurant dedicated to serving only unagi, and in Tokyu you have plenty of choices. Thanks to my friend David ( I went to Obana Restaurant (尾花) which is a very highly rated, some say it’s the best, unagi in Tokyo.
What I like about Obana Restaurant (尾花) is that there are no reservations, so it’s first come, first serve, and it’s one of the classic Japanese food restaurants where you have to arrive early and wait in line for a chance to eat this legendary unagi. I arrived about 1 hour early, and already there were 20 people in the line in front of me. The wait was quite interesting, because as I was standing in line, a festival parade came walking right past.
The restaurant is within an old style Japanese building, with tatami floors, and you sit on the floor with a low table. They first steam the eel, and then grill it, and serve it in the lacquered box the traditional Japanese way.
I’ve had unagi before, but nothing compared to this unagi. It was absolutely exquisite, the most buttery perfectly cooked unagi I’ve ever had. Also, I liked how the sauce glaze was not overpowering like it sometimes can be, but it was light and just accented the wonderful eel.
Obana Restaurant (尾花) is not cheap, but the quality you get is mind-blowing.

Seiyo Uwakome Museum - Ehime - 宇和米博物館 - 4K Ultra HD
Originally built in 1928, the Uwakome Museum, or in English: Rice Museum, was actually Seiyo’s largest school. With a unique design, this 109m long school features one of Japan’s longest corridors. Entirely built of wood, and no longer capable of coping with modern school standards, Seiyo City decided to turn this unique building into a museum dedicated to Japanese rice. If you’ve ever wondered how rice was planted, and harvested, as well as how tools changed from one decade to another the Uwakome Museum has all the answers and more!

World’s largest Naruto and Boruto Theme Park in Japan
Japan Naruto Theme Park and Boruto Theme Park located in Nijigen no Mori Awajishima. This is first look at currently the World's largest Naruto amusement park and Boruto amusement park located in Shinobi Zato also known as ninja village area of the National Park of Awajishima. The ninja village hosts 2 main mission areas guided by maki-mono (scrolls) chi-no-maki (earth scroll) and ten-no-maki (heaven scroll). This anime theme park will take you on a puzzle solving adventures. This is perfect play ground for all Naruto manga and anime lovers alike.
Also, this anime theme park has recreated an outdoor version of Naruto's favorite ramen shop, Ichiraku ramen shop where you can get Hakata style ramen. Ramen ichiraku's Naruto Ramen was quite delicious and would love to have another bowl at anytime. The shop also serves Naruto themed food.
Nijigen no mori where the Naruto theme park is located, is originally a giant national park so it’s actually a perfect spot to just hang out, relax and have a picnic.
In fact, Naruto theme park video is the first part of a 2 part series for the Awajishima area so if you are deciding to visit this area, then definitely stick around for the 2nd part of this video series.

TOKYO NIGHTLIFE GUIDE
Tokyo Nightlife Guide, 2017 - Let me take you around Tokyo, Japan and show you some of the best things to do in Tokyo at night!
As I mention in the Tokyo Nightlife Guide video, there are a million bars, nightclubs, and restaurants in Tokyo to choose from, so I wanted to break it down by popular nightlife neighborhoods in Tokyo to give you some ideas on things to do in Tokyo at night.
ROPPONGI - Known to be the most foreign-friendly nightlife neighborhood. Home to the Hard Rock Cafe and many other western bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. Some good nightlife areas around Roppongi include Azabujuban and Akasaka.
EBISU - A much more local environment than Roppongi, and home to the awesome Ebisu Yokocho, is Ebisu. My favorite nightlife area in Tokyo along with Nakameguro and Meguro nearby.
SHIBUYA - Famous for the Shibuya Crossing, Shibuya is where many of the biggest nightclubs in Tokyo are, but you can also find a million small, quiet, hidden Shibuya bars as well. Mega clubs like Whomb, Harlem, Club Camelot, Sound Museum Vision, Atom, are very big right now. Be sure to check online before visiting for specials, DJs, and cover charges.
SHINJUKU - Tokyo Red Light District is in Shinjuku, as is the popular Robot Restaurant, and Golden Gai. In all of Tokyo, you can probably find the most variety and options of Shinjuku bars than anywhere else.
ENJOY RESPONSIBLY! And please let me know in the comments if you have any recommendations, as I will add them to the Ultimate Tokyo Nightlife Guide on my travel blog:
