On the Road with Jo: Sebastian's Store Hearst Ranch | San Simeon CA - Central Coast
Enjoy Hearst Ranch beef and wine at Sebastian's Store. It's the best burger I've ever had! No wonder this San Simeon, California registered historic landmark has been here since 1914.
Sebastian’s store is on the ocean side of Highway 1 directly across from Hearst Castle. This registered California historical landmark was built in 1852 and has been owned and operated by the Sebastian family since 1914; but it’s not just a general store any more. This quaint restaraunt and wine bar is the perfect place to stop after visiting the elephant seal rookery, touring Hearst Castle, or exploring the pristine coast from Moonstone Beach.
You can taste a selection of Hearst Wines, and then do like I did… enjoy a Hearst Ranch Beef burger. It’s absolutely the best burger I’ve ever had!

Welcome every body! I present you Paul Stamets came to speak at the Newmark Theatre in Portland Oregon on 9/20/2018. I was lucky enough to stand on stage and record his lecture. But the bad news is I do not have any of the material he was displaying on the screen.
The bright note is that I fully transcribed this video and I believe I have every proper noun and latin name correct. If I'm wrong leave a comment I will correct it! But Im pretty sure I'm right.
Thank you every body.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! SUMMARY
=======
Mary was a 1st-century BC Galilean Jewish woman of Nazareth, and the mother of Jesus, according to the New Testament and the Quran.
The gospels of Matthew and Luke in the New Testament and the Quran describe Mary as a virgin; according to Christian teaching she conceived Jesus while a virgin, through the Holy Spirit. The miraculous conception took place when she was already betrothed to Joseph. She accompanied Joseph to Bethlehem, where Jesus was born.The Gospel of Luke begins its account of Mary's life with the Annunciation, when the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and announced her divine selection to be the mother of Jesus. According to canonical gospel accounts, Mary was present at the crucifixion and is depicted as a member of the early Christian community in Jerusalem. According to Catholic and Orthodox teachings, at the end of her earthly life her body was raised directly into Heaven; this is known in the Christian West as the Assumption.Mary has been venerated since early Christianity, and is considered by millions to be the most meritorious saint of the religion. She is claimed to have miraculously appeared to believers many times over the centuries. The Eastern and Oriental Orthodox, Catholic, Anglican, and Lutheran churches believe that Mary, as mother of Jesus, is the Mother of God (Greek: Θεοτόκος, translit. Theotokos, lit. 'God-bearer'). There is significant diversity in the Marian beliefs and devotional practices of major Christian traditions. The Catholic Church holds distinctive Marian dogmas, namely her status as the Mother of God, her Immaculate Conception, her perpetual virginity, and her Assumption into heaven. Many Protestants minimize Mary's role within Christianity, based on the argued brevity of biblical references. Mary also has a revered position in Islam, where one of the longer chapters of the Quran is devoted to her.
