Winter is coming!
In this video I am walking from Wadakura Fountain Park to Hibiya Midtown (Golden Hour). I walk through the surroundings of the imperial palace gardens from where you can see the central Tokyo skyline (Marounochi area).
In my opinion, Imperial palace gardens surroundings are better than the Imperial Palace. Moreover, Wadakura Fountain Park is a fantastic place with nice views and a very quiet place.

Very Nice 2002 Mitsubishi High-speed Shuttle Scenic Elevators B2,46F@Dentsu Building, Minato, Tokyo
Filmed in January 2016. This is quite exciting - they're fast shuttle scenic elevators serving floors B2 and 46 (48 floors high!).
The Dentsu Building or Dentsu Headquarters Building (電通本社ビル Dentsū Honsha Biru) is a high-rise building in the Shiodome area of Minato, Tokyo, Japan. The building houses the corporate offices of Dentsu.
48 floors rise to 213.34 m (700 ft), it is the eleventh-tallest building in Tokyo and second-tallest in Shiodome.[citation needed] It was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel and completed in 2002. It was built over the site of Tokyo's first train station, and sits aside the Hamarikyu Gardens, formerly the site of a Shogun's vacation home. The Dentsu building is an example of contemporary architecture, featuring collectors on the roof to utilize rainwater for its plumbing system, as well as ceramic dots on the windows which, in concert with computerized window shades, control climate control expediture. The Dentsu building has 70 elevators, including a special elevator reserved only for VIPs and executive management.
With the exception of sludge, all waste materials produced in the construction of the Dentsu Building were recycled.
The construction was started in October 1999, and it was completed in October 2002 and opened on 1.11.2002.

Aoyama (青山 Aoyama, Blue Mountain) is a neighborhood of Tokyo, located in the northeastern Minato Ward. During the Edo Period, Aoyama was home to various temples, shrines, and samurai residences. The name Aoyama derived from a samurai named Aoyama Tadanari who served the Tokugawa Shogunate and held his mansion in this area. Today, along with Shibuya and Harajuku, it is one of the most popular entertainment and shopping areas for young people in Tokyo. It is well known for its fashion houses, restaurants, and shopping. Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium is in the North part of Aoyama.

Also, this anime theme park has recreated an outdoor version of Naruto's favorite ramen shop, Ichiraku ramen shop where you can get Hakata style ramen. Ramen ichiraku's Naruto Ramen was quite delicious and would love to have another bowl at anytime. The shop also serves Naruto themed food.
Nijigen no mori where the Naruto theme park is located, is originally a giant national park so it’s actually a perfect spot to just hang out, relax and have a picnic.
In fact, Naruto theme park video is the first part of a 2 part series for the Awajishima area so if you are deciding to visit this area, then definitely stick around for the 2nd part of this video series.

5x Amazing 1994 Toshiba Fast T. Elevs B2-2, 4-22F@The Westin Hotel***** Tokyo, Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan
Filmed in January 2016. This is a very nice 5-star hotel, and this is filming the two low-rise elevators! What a beautiful luxurious interior!
The Westin Hotel Tokyo***** is a luxury hotel in Mita, Meguro-ku, Tokyo. It is one of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
It is located in Ebisu Garden Place, which has been re-developed by Sapporo Holdings (Sapporo beer at the time). It was opened on October 8, 1994, at the time of the the grand opening of the Ebisu Garden Place.
The hotel is unified in the European classic tone, with very big rooms (starting from 42 square meters in the standard type). THe hotel has 438 rooms, including suites. The Westin Executive Club is located on floors 16-21. The hotel has eight restaurants and a lounge bar.
On the 17th floor, the Executive Club Lounge is locataed, which provides check-in / check-out service to the Executive Club floors, breakfast service, tea service, evening cocktails and business support.
Also, there is a Chinese restaurant on the second floor of the hotel (called Ryutenmon), also found in the Michelin Guide of Tokyo, Yokohama and Kamakura 2011, and has won several awards.
During 2008, the hotel was used as a venue of the G8 Justice and Home Affairs Ministers' Meeting.

Filmed in January 2016. This is a typical early 2000s Mitsubishi elevator, and it has been added later, since the Yurikamome line Shimbashi station was opened in November 1995, while the JR Shimbashi station dates back to 1872.

AMAZING! Old 1974 Mitsubishi Elepet Hydr. El B1-1F@Hotel New Otani***** Garden Tower, Tokyo, Japan
Filmed in January 2016. This is inside one of the most famous hotels in Tokyo, and also one of the most expensive ones - the amazing five-star Hotel new Otani! It has 1479 luxurious hotel rooms in total.
It was constructed during 1962-September 1964, and was requested by the Japanese government in order to fill a perceived shortage of hotel space for foreign visitors to the Olympics.
The hotel is located in Kioicho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, at the site of about 20,000 square meters where there used to be a feudal lord mansion and the old Fushimi Kyutei ruins from ancient times. On April 1st, 1963, Construction was started, by Taisei Corporation.
The 17-floor Main Building has a total floor area of 84411m² and 1085 hotel rooms which were constructed in only one and a half years using a number of techniques that were revolutionary in Japan at the time, such as high-performance curtain walls and prefabricated unit bathrooms. The 400-year-old garden on the site was retained as part of the hotel.
The New Otani was the tallest building in Tokyo from 1964 until 1968, when the Kasumigaseki Building was completed. It took on an iconic status during this period, particularly for its unique revolving restaurant on the highest floor.
The hotel assumed operation of the Akasaka Palace, the Japanese State Guest House, in 1976. The palace and the hotel were the main venues of the 5th G7 summit in 1979, the 12th G7 summit in 1986, and the 19th G7 summit in 1993. The New Otani also hosted the world leaders who attended the funeral of Emperor Hirohito in 1989 and those who attended the enthronement of Emperor Akihito in 1990.
In 1974 after 10 years of operation, on September 1, an additional tower was opened (the current Garden Tower). It has 40 floors (+ 1 basement floor), with a total floor area of 88600m², 394 hotel rooms, and the height is 144.5m.
In 1991 on February 8, the New Otani Garden Court office building was opened, with 30 floors above ground and three underground floors (134,7 meters high), with a total floor area of 74434m².(I didn't go to that building, though).
The original 1964 building was extensively renovated and remodeled in 2007 and is now referred to as The Main.
Along with the Imperial Hotel and Hotel Okura, it is often referred to as one of the three great hotels (御三家 gosanke) of Tokyo. (Source: Wikipedia)
The world-famous Swedish pop music group, ABBA, also stayed in this hotel (they probably stayed in the then-newly built Garden Tower) on their Tours in Japan in 1978 and March 1980, respectively.

Very Nice 1999 Mitsubishi Roped Hydraulic Elevator@JR Shinagawa Station, Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan
