Theological Education Continues in Bulgaria
We are continuing with the theological education in Stara Zagora in a distance learning form. After the long summer break, during which we all had to put in practice what we had learned in the classroom, we are back to school. The first day of school we all gathered it was a cold and rainy day, but we prayed for Gods blessings and believed that God has put us together for a purpose.
The first course that we started with was History of Christian Music a course that sounds easy in a way, but it is also a very important one. We started with the Hebrew music and their way for worshiping God with all their heart and soul. We made a so called tour through the early church period and the Medieval times. I believe that it was very interesting to all students.
For me the best thing was that during the break between the classes we all teacher and students decided to go to the chapel and worship God with songs of praise, instead of going out to get a coffee and have conversations. The funny thing was that we spent more than a half an hour in worship and almost forgot our lectures. It was great to be in the presence of the Lord!
This was a great a beginning of the new school year. May God bless our students and the teachers so we could have a successful year we want to learn more, but also to practice everything we learn in our churches and regions!
