Tokyo's Super Mario-themed bar
In Tokyo's Shinjuku area, there is a small bar called Star Club where customers can play all kinds of retro video games while drinking specialty cocktails. Signature drinks include the Invisible Mario, a cocktail with umeshu, a plum liqueur, and anzushu, an apricot liqueur. If the video game consoles are being used by other patrons, there are screens on which to view the games being played and other toys and trinkets to keep giddy customers busy.

TOKYO NIGHTLIFE GUIDE
Tokyo Nightlife Guide, 2017 - Let me take you around Tokyo, Japan and show you some of the best things to do in Tokyo at night!
As I mention in the Tokyo Nightlife Guide video, there are a million bars, nightclubs, and restaurants in Tokyo to choose from, so I wanted to break it down by popular nightlife neighborhoods in Tokyo to give you some ideas on things to do in Tokyo at night.
ROPPONGI - Known to be the most foreign-friendly nightlife neighborhood. Home to the Hard Rock Cafe and many other western bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. Some good nightlife areas around Roppongi include Azabujuban and Akasaka.
EBISU - A much more local environment than Roppongi, and home to the awesome Ebisu Yokocho, is Ebisu. My favorite nightlife area in Tokyo along with Nakameguro and Meguro nearby.
SHIBUYA - Famous for the Shibuya Crossing, Shibuya is where many of the biggest nightclubs in Tokyo are, but you can also find a million small, quiet, hidden Shibuya bars as well. Mega clubs like Whomb, Harlem, Club Camelot, Sound Museum Vision, Atom, are very big right now. Be sure to check online before visiting for specials, DJs, and cover charges.
SHINJUKU - Tokyo Red Light District is in Shinjuku, as is the popular Robot Restaurant, and Golden Gai. In all of Tokyo, you can probably find the most variety and options of Shinjuku bars than anywhere else.
ENJOY RESPONSIBLY! And please let me know in the comments if you have any recommendations, as I will add them to the Ultimate Tokyo Nightlife Guide on my travel blog:

【Tokyo Japan Guide】Host Club Experience In Tokyo!
Please subscribe.
Romeo is a host club in Tokyo’s Kabukicho red light district, where the young men earn a living by entertaining the female customers and encouraging them to spend big. It’s now standard at host clubs across Japan.
Many see the role of hosts and hostesses as an extension of geisha culture. The performances of hosts may not have the refinement of geisha – ‘gei’ is written with the Chinese character meaning art – but singing and engaging conversational skills are prerequisites, along with the right looks.
Don’t miss your big chance to have a special lady's experience at a host club in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo! You'll never see it anywhere else! Only in Japan! Let’s slip past the secret door and find out what it’s really like to go to a host club!

TOKYO, EXPLORING the SMALL BARS and narrow alleys of SHINJUKU (Golden Gai), JAPAN
SUBSCRIBE: - Shinjuku Golden Gai (新宿ゴールデン街) is a small area of Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, famous both as an area of architectural interest and for its nightlife. It is composed of a network of six narrow alleys, connected by even narrower passageways which are just about wide enough for a single person to pass through. Over 200 tiny shanty-style bars, clubs and eateries are squeezed into this area.
Japan is an island nation in the Pacific Ocean with dense cities, imperial palaces, mountainous national parks and thousands of shrines and temples. Shinkansen bullet trains connect the main islands of Kyushu (with Okinawa's subtropical beaches), Honshu (home to Tokyo and Hiroshima’s atomic-bomb memorial) and Hokkaido (famous for skiing). Tokyo, the capital, is known for skyscrapers, shopping and pop culture.

「夜のおもてなし」日本一のホスト - The King of Hosts

The philosophy behind Club Fantasy, located in the seedy Kabukicho district of Shinjuku is that customers are offered the opportunity to spend time with pop idols that you can actually meet. Naoki, the alleged 'King of Hosts', makes around $30,000 a month, stars in his own music videos, and is considered a local legend in the host club world in Tokyo. Vice Japan visits Naoki in his stomping grounds as he takes us on a tour behind the scenes.

Erin and Frankie's Excellent Adventure: Shinjuku and Shibuya Visual Kei Music Stores
WARNING: Much fangirling ahead.
When we were in Japan back in February one of the first things on our list of things-to-do was to go music shopping! We checked out Shinjuku's Like an Edison, Club Indies (Jishuban Club) Pure Sound, and Closet Child in Shinjuku, and Zeal Link in Shibuya which is really hard to find. We also discovered a really cool clothing store called Ghost of Harlem along the way to Zeal Link! And we spent a LOT of money over the course of the day...

Americans Amazing 5 Star Stay at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo
We had such a great time on our last night of our 22 day trip around Japan at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo. It was the nicest hotel of our trip, and the most amazing dinner in their Teppanyaki Grill with our Kobe Beef menu.
The guest room was so comfortable and large by Japanese standards, we also had access to the Regency Club which was very nice, appetizers and drinks, and great views of Tokyo. The highlight of our night was the Kobe Beef dinner at the Teppanyaki Grill. The artistry of our chef was as impressive as the food he prepared. It's something you'll have to experience yourself.
Thanks again to the Hyatt Regency Tokyo for the wonderful night, it was one of the highlights of our time in Japan.

Tokyo Love Hotel Date - Part 2
After browsing the selection in Part 1, I return to the agency to meet my date. Then we visit the Japanese love hotel.
Also isn't it just like ordering sushi? The relentless pursuit of automation from countless ubiquitous vending machines found on every street corner, to automated sushi, to even ordering a date through a machine is one of the fascinating aspects of Japanese culture. Though some love hotels are also automated, our hotel was not.

Kabukichō (歌舞伎町) is an entertainment and red-light district in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. Kabukichō is the location of many host and hostess clubs, love hotels, shops, restaurants, and nightclubs, and is often called the Sleepless Town (眠らない街). The district's name comes from late-1940s plans to build a kabuki theater: although the theater was never built, the name stuck.
The area has many movie theaters, and is located near Shinjuku Station, Seibu Shinjuku Station, and several other major railway and subway stations.
Originally, the area was known as Tsunohazu (角筈) and was a swamp. After the Meiji Period, the area became a duck sanctuary. As the Yodobashi Purification Plant was built in 1893, the ponds were filled in. In 1920, a girl's school was built there, and the surroundings were developed into a residential area. During World War II, the bombing of Tokyo in 1945 razed the area to the ground. After the war, a kabuki theatre was planned to be built there and the town changed its name to Kabukichō. Though the theatre was cancelled due to financial problems, the name remained. Kabukichō was quickly redeveloped after the war, mainly due to the efforts of the overseas Chinese in Japan who bought land left unused after the expos and greatly developed them. Examples of such people include the founder of Humax, Lin Yiwen, who started his business with a cabaret.
At present, Kabukichō has transformed from a residential area to a world-famous red-light district housing over three thousand bars, nightclubs, love hotels, massage parlours, hostess clubs and the like. Although referred here as a red light district, there are no red lights in the literal sense with prostitutes in the windows as in Amsterdam. Recently, tourism from China and Korea are on the rise, and so, many tourists can be seen in Kabukichō even during daytime.
The Shinjuku Koma Theater has been a landmark in Kabukichō. Now in its third building, it has hosted concerts and other performances by top stars, including enka singers Saburō Kitajima, Kiyoshi Hikawa, and actor Ken Matsudaira. The management announced that they would close after the December 31, 2008 show.
Crime:
In 2004, according to a spokesperson of Metropolitan Tokyo, there are more than 1,000 yakuza members in Kabukichō, and 120 different enterprises under their control.
Entering the new millennium, laws were more strictly enforced and patrols became more frequent. These, adding to the installation of fifty closed-circuit cameras in May 2002, reduced criminal activities in Kabukichō, amidst controversy.
In 2004, the police undertook an operation clamping down on illegal clubs and brothels, causing many to go out of business. Also, there is a movement to rid Kabukichō of the yakuza (bad hand gangs), known as the Kabukichō Renaissance.
