In episode 5 of my Yamanote Line series I explore the area for Tabata Station and its neighborhood as I cycle to Komagome. Tabata Station serves the Yamanote Line and the Keihin Tohoku lines.
Tabata in Kita Tokyo is known for its Tattoo parlours and memorial museum dedicated to writers and artists. Tabata hasn’t changed much of the last 100 years keeping its artistic culture mostly intact.
One of the highlights on this ride was coming fact to face with a Yamanote Line train at a level crossing.
