Bodega Bay Beach Trip
Our trip to a Bodega Bay beach called Arched Rock beach. We did some metal detecting there, but all we found was one 1996 dime.

Took a short break from off-roading to spend some time with some friends. I took Lloyd to the coast to kick back, relax and see some old friends. It was a much-needed break even though the water was cold and the waves were poor.

Or looking out West from this lovely oceanfront home, shimmering seas looks like millions of sparkling diamonds, specular colorful sunsets, migrating whales and all the wildlife activity it has to offer. Also on the oceanside we have a round picnic table with another LED lighted 9' umbrella, and a gas fire pit with blue decorative glass!
As you enter this unforgettable home you will find a fully equipped remodeled gourmet kitchen, with new counter tops/back splash, all new appliances. New square white dinner, salad plates and bowls with plenty of beautiful serving dishes, pots and pans and utensils, you name it we have it! A - 3 setting KEURIG coffee maker with (regular Dark Roast Starbucks or Peet's Coffee) K-cups are supplied. Fresh linens, new fluffy towels, down pillows/comforters, comfy beds and bedding, all beds have 3 memory foam toppers. When you set up this feature you'll be able to send/receive calls and text messages, our Wi-Fi password at Casa Bella is - guest (all lower case).
Getting to the beach, no problem! Just a minute walk to the State maintained path and steps to the sand and sea. You can beach comb, collect shells, beach glass and driftwood. Stroll down the scenic coastline and observe starfish, mussels clinging to the rough rocks, tide pools, and a lot more for you to explore! For day trips we are close to Point Reyes, Armstrong Woods State Park, Healdsburg, Napa and St Helena. If you're a golfer, The Links at Bodega Bay is very popular as is Northwood Golf Club in Monte Rio, beautiful course among the majestic Redwoods.
Local attractions include: Golfing, wine tasting, seasonal farmers market, hiking, biking, kayaking, sailing, surfing, sport fishing, paddle boarding and horse back riding on the beach. Visit local wineries, quaint little marinas, restaurants, shopping at boutique galleries, candy, kite, and saltwater taffy stores. I took a trip out to Foresthill Bridge in Auburn California which happens to be the tallest bridge in California, and the 4th tallest bridge in the United States. What better way to test the Mavic's capabilities, then to take it to a heavily wooded area to highlight its key features. Note*: I included a small clip of a few seconds on unfocused video to highlight the importance of utilizing the tap to focus feature; without it, your footage is pretty much useless. On our way north out of California, we stopped and stayed in this great little park on the Delta Loop. Park Delta Bay is a nice little RV park situated a short drive off of I5 about an hour from Sacramento, or an hour and a half from San Francisco.
We caught Park Delta Bay in the off season but can certainly tell that this park is a great spot to be at when the weather is nice. The short bumpy drive to this unique local is worth the drive and time spent.
In addition to RV spots, this park offers cabins for rent and is also accommodates tiny houses. If boating is your thing, there is a marina directly across the road, and several a short drive in either direction.
We had a great dinner at the Spindrift restaurant thats a super short walk from the park. Try the fish tacos!
The park offers free Wifi, and the Verizon signal is outstanding. We were getting 100 MBS down and 40 up with Verizon.
