Wrights Beach Campground | Bodega Bay, CA
Wright’s Beach Campground is a California State Park for camping near Bodega Bay and Jenner. This campground video shows on of the best California beaches that you can get outside of a California West Coast RV park. It’s close to Bodega Dunes Campground and Doran Beach camping in Northern California. The camp sites are near the beach and it is some of the best camping in Sonoma County and California State beach camping. You can also take the Kortum trail to Goat Rock beach. If you RV in California, you’ll love this West Coast RV campground. This is definitely one of the best California beaches that has a campground since the campsites are near the beach.

It's taken nearly 4 days to get from Concord to the Sonoma Coast State Park with a huge climb through Napa but we're finally here and this was a beautiful stretch through the last of the rolling hills before we hit the coastal park bird walking path...
Tomales Bay, California
Tomales Bay is a long, narrow inlet of the Pacific Ocean in Marin County in northern California in the United States. It is approximately 15 miles long and averages nearly 1.0 miles wide, effectively separating the Point Reyes Peninsula from the mainland of Marin County. It is located approximately 30 miles northwest of San Francisco. The bay forms the eastern boundary of Point Reyes National Seashore.
Oyster farming is a major industry on the bay. The two largest producers are Tomales Bay Oyster Company and Hog Island Oyster Company, both of which retail oysters to the public and have picnic grounds on the east shore. Hillsides east of Tomales Bay are grazed by cows belonging to local dairies. There is also grazing land west of the bay, on farms and ranches leased from Point Reyes National Seashore.
The bay sees significant amounts of water sports including sailing, kayaking, fishing and motor boating. Watercraft may be launched on Tomales Bay from the public boat ramp at Nick's Cove, north of Marshall.
Towns bordering Tomales Bay include Inverness, Inverness Park, Point Reyes Station, and Marshall. Additional hamlets include Nick's Cove, Spengers, Duck Cove, Shallow Beach, and Vilicichs. Dillon Beach lies just to the north of the mouth of the bay, and Tomales just to the east.
The area was once Coast Miwok territory. Documented villages in the area included Echa-kolum (south of Marshall), Sakloki (opposite Tomales Point), Shotommo-wi (near the mouth of the Estero de San Antonio), and Utumia (near Tomales).
Francis Drake is thought to have landed in nearby Drakes Estero in 1579.Members of the Vizcaíno Expedition found the Bay in 1603, and thinking it a river, named it Rio Grande de San Sebastian.

Bodega Bay, CA ...DJI Phantom IV Drone High Wind Test Flight (Pilot Missy Jenn)
On May 11, 2018, Missy Jenn and I went to Bodega Bay, CA to test fly the drone in high wind conditions. Normally, drone flying is discouraged in winds above 15 MPH, due to stability issues. We had 30 MPH winds with gusts to 40 MPH, but Missy Jenn performed superbly, always having control. Observe the trees as the drone approaches the RV park and you can see the wind gusting through the treetops.

Like mom's not home
Summer nights,
Love 'em how they take so long
One, two, three.
Jumpin' off the porch like mom's not home
Tell me why the best things feel so wrong
Summer nights,
Love 'em how they take so long
Run with the feeling
of being alive
Jumpin' off the porch like mom's not home
Just a couple kids livin' on our own
Summer nights,
Love 'em how they take so long
Run with the feeling
of being alive while we're still young
