STORYLINE
JACKSON GLOVE AND ITEMS ON DISPLAY IN EXHIBITION
Michael Jackson''s shimmering white glove, which he wore when he premiered the Moonwalk dance in 1983 went on display to the public at Ponte 16, a hotel resort in Macau, China on Monday (1 Feb, 2010).
The late singer''s infamous glove joins other items such as Jackson''s Zombie suit for the ''Thriller'' music video and a pair of crystal socks which Michael Jackson wore for his Victory tour in 1984, on display at the new MJ Gallery.
Hoffman Ma, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Ponte 16 paid $420,000, including taxes and fees for the music icon''s left-hand glove and other Jackson items on 21 November last year at Julien''s Actions in Los Angeles.
The official launch ceremony featured Asia''s pop diva Coco Lee and Shaheen Jafargholi, the young finalist of Britain''s Got Talent 2009 who sang at Jackson''s memorial service, performing at the event.
Hoffman Ma, Deputy Chief Executive Officer said he is a big fan of the late singer and will keep collecting Jackson memorabilia to increase the gallery''s attraction for Macau''s tourists.
Ma said he will focus on Jackson''s symbolic items which represent his career.
More Jackson items will be added to the exhibit in the resort this year.

Following the successful launch of their MJ Gallery, and its subsequent inclusion on the list of recommended must-see destinations by the Macau Government Tourist Office, Ponte 16 has partnered with Julien's Auctions from Las Vegas to stage the Rock the World exhibition - a collection of over 100 rare and valuable memorabilia items from the biggest stars in the film and music industry.

HOLLYWOOD MEMORABILIA EXHIBITION OPENS IN MACAU
About 200 pieces of celebrity memorabilia are going on show at the Legends exhibition at Ponte 16 in Macau, China before being auctioned off next month.
The exhibition, featuring items from Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Bruce Lee, Princess Diana, Madonna and The Beatles, will be open to the public from 22 September to 8 October.
Actor Aarif Rahman, who plays Bruce Lee in an upcoming movie, attended a preview of the exhibition Tuesday (21 September 2010) dressed as Bruce Lee, while and model Anna R. wore a Marilyn Monroe costume.
Among the 200 items on show are Monroe's black-lace bra, an X-ray of Monroe and Michael Jackson stage costumes including a pair of crystal socks and a black crystal-encrusted glove.
Other items include an array of costumes from Hollywood blockbusters such as Batman Forever, Pirates of the Caribbean and Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
Darren Julien President and CEO of organizers Julien's Auctions, said bidders from over thirty countries including collectors and fans have registered online for the auction.
The live auction will take place on October 9th.
