Morro Bay
This is a very nice place to visit, with its rock formation to its sea food and coastal hospitality.
Morro Bay has a lot to offer the average person, local or not. This ocean side town has a thriving community and local flare.
From music, to bars and restaurant options this small town on the central California coast has plenty to offer in family entertainment and even some adult time if needed.
Over all this relaxed atmosphere draws in people to just go and enjoy many if it's shops and food options and even a nice relaxing day at the beach.

Fukushima radiation hits San Francisco (Dec 2013)
This shocking video was taken December 23rd 2013 with a quality Geiger Counter south of Pacifica State Beach (Surfers Beach) California.
Regular background radiation reading is 30 CPM. Near the ocean background is 150 CPM. The fine mist coming from the ocean waves and/or the constant accumulation of radioactive particles in the sand seems to be what makes the Geiger Counter jump up 5X. This is not normal at all. More thorough testing needs to be done. Thanks to Rense.com for originally publishing this video and Dave for making this video.

NOTE: The Radiation Network website, for example, uses a threshold warning level of 100 CPM, mainly because it is unusual to observe levels of 100 or higher without something more going on in the area than just background level.
From the Inspector Geiger Counter's user manual: CPM (or CPS) and total counts are the most direct methods of measurement; mR/hr (or uSv/hr) is calculated using a conversion factor optimized for Cesium-137, so this mode is less accurate for other radionuclides, unless you have calibrated the geiger counter for a specific radionuclide using an appropriate source. It is more appropriate to measure alpha and beta activity using CPM than using mR/hr. Conversion for alpha and beta emitters is calcuated differently, and the geiger counters reading in mR/hr may not be accurate.

Tourists and locals both enjoy a variety of activities in the area, including fishing, surfing, kayaking, golfing, bird watching, beachcombing, or just relaxing and enjoying the sunset. Besides the nature and recreation of Estero Bay, there are also fine restaurants, and unique shops.
Morro Bay , the largest of the three cities, is at the heart of Estero Bay. Morro Rock, the last in a chain of long-extinct volcanoes, covers over 50 acres at its base and towers 576 feet above the entrance to Morro Bay. The waters that make up the bay are contained within a three-mile sandpit and the shores of Morro Bay and Los Osos. The local fishing industry is one of the most important along the California Coast.

Shell Factory - Review - Fort Myers, FL
Shell Factory and Nature Park is located just north of Fort Myers, Florida, at 2787 North Tamiami Trail, Fort Meyers, FL 33903. Telephone is (239) 955-2141. Visit There is a nature park, and a mini-zoo with more than 400 critters. Attractions at Shell Factory include a large souvenir store, and museums for fossils, shells, and natural history. There is also a fudge shop, ice cream store, a Subway, a cafe, and the infamous Swamp Bar, and Capt'n Fishbone's. Shell Factory is open seven days a week. The main store for shells and Florida souvenirs is usually open from 9:30 AM to 6 PM. The Shell Factory is an eclectic mix of shops and museums. There's a lot to see and do for free, but the nature park has a fee. Shell Factory is a natural rest stop for those traveling on US 41 and Alligator Alley, coming or going to Naples, Fl, Miami, FL, and the Florida Keys.
Morro Bay 360 Sub Sea Tour
Going on a Sub Sea Tour in Morro Bay. Trying out my 360 Camera on a window bottom boat tour. Seen Seals, Otters and water, lots and lots of water.
Went on a sub shaped boat with glass windows in the bottom and had a nice relaxed good time with my family.
