Journey In Japan - Return to Tokyo: Minato and Asakusa
Vlogs/footage from my 4th and 5th days in Tokyo! Day 4: I visited the Pokemon Center (I tried so hard to get a video in there but I guess I wasn't filming when I thought I was...) and Kyu Shiba Rikyu Garden in Minato. Funny story, you have to pay to get in, and when I left I left my wallet behind in a tree (don't ask..) I had an interesting time explaining why I needed to get back in without paying, but they were understanding enough and let me run back to get it. Then after I went on a mini shopping spree at the Daiso.
Day 5: I thought I had taken a lot more footage, but again, I must have thought I was filming without actually pressing the right button. -.- I rode around Asakusa, wandered around Nakamise Dori, then visited the Skytree with my friend Kosaku.
Again, sorry for the lack of footage. I was too busy enjoying my days to worry about filming all the time.
Yakatabune - Dinner cruise on a traditional restaurant boat
A Yakatabune is a cruise boat where you can enjoy a wonderful dinner. These boats have a long history. That’s why the interior and food are Japanese style. We went on a cruise with “Shinagawa Funasei”, which is located at Shinagawa (15 min on foot from Shinagawa station Konan exit).
The scenery of Tokyo seen on a cruise going around Tokyo Bay and Sumida River is exceptional. Thanks to the staff's efforts, we had so much fun also with the other groups on the boat. The Japanese dinner was great. We especially enjoyed the fresh sashimi (that was served on a small wooden boat) and the piping hot tempura!
A cruise on a Yakatabune is something special that you will always remember. When you come to Japan, you have to see it for yourself!

Tokyo Bay ????-warming Cruise
Have you heard about the Symphony Cruise which takes you around Tokyo Bay on a gorgeous ship for over two and a half hours? The route of the cruise is heart-shaped. How cute!
This cruise is the only cruise passing Tokyo’s two famous bridges: Rainbow Bridge - which is the symbol of Tokyo Bay - and Tokyo Gate Bridge, which opened in 2012.
In addition, you can see Odaiba, container yards, TOKYO SKYTREE, Tokyo Disney Resort, Haneda airport etc. If you are lucky, you can also see the fireworks at Disney Resort.
Dining on board is a MUST! You can choose from meal plans such as French, Italian, couple sets, buffet and an all-you-can-drink plan at the bar. In addition, for those who just want to enjoy the scenery, there is also a plan without any meals.
The Symphony Cruises can be enjoyed regardless of the season or weather conditions, as the view from inside as well as from the deck is both nice. Why don’t you go on a cruise on a special day or to make some fun memories with your loved ones? This heart-shaped cruise will make everybody happy – for sure!
