On Memorial Day weekend, Joseph and I took a road day trip up to Joshua Tree. From home in San Diego, it took us about 2.5 hours to get there. We arrived around 8am and checked out many different places! In the video you will see:

This video is just a vlog of my recent experience at San Diego during my birthday with my girlfriend. Coming from the bay we decided to do something last minute for my birthday and that was just to go to San Diego even-though we didn't know what to do there. So the first thing was to book a place to stay and that was Kona Kai Resort once we got that of the way we drove to SD with no hesitation. First stop we visited my cousin Hanna and from there the trip started. We eventually get to SD and plan the rest of our 3 day stay. At SD we decided to go to the zoo of course after hearing how amazing it is and that followed up with a lovely dinner on a boat hosted by Hornblower cruises and events SD and I must say that was a surprise from my girl. Other than that we enjoyed the resort with late night swims and i you looking to party through out the night I suggest checking out Gas Lamp. As for recommendations just to look around check out the beaches for us, we ended up going to Mission Beach thanks to my cousin TJ for mentioning it. Overall it was an amazing trip and one for the books.

✈ USA Trip: Silicon Valley & California Route 1 (travel vlog)
We woke up early to do a little tour in Silicon Valley with our rented convertible... but got pretty lost. Also, it was impossible to find parking space around Google or Apple, and Apple Headquarter's merch store was closed for refurbishment. Not our best day.
But fear not, after the disappointment we visited the cool NASA Ames Research Center museum (which also had a closed merch store), and stuffed ourselves at Sam Clam Chowder, Half Moon Bay. Highly recommended. The glittery sand beach and wild seal watching was a bonus for the location!
On our way back to San Francisco we saw some pretty stunning landscapes as well. Good memories overall :)

The Hawaiian Islands are located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and form the 50th state of the USA. In the south east of the island of O’Ahu, Honolulu is a modern town and the starting point for most journeys. The valley of Nuuanu Pali is of great importance in Hawaiian history. It was here that a deciding battle took place, when King Kamehameh came from Maui and triumphantly drove the troops of the chief of Oahu into the mountains, the result of which formed the political union of the Hawaiian Islands. In winter, the world’s best surfers collect on Sunset Beach, attracted by spectacular waves, some of which reach as high as the tallest church steeples. On the island of Kaua’i, the Wailua is Hawaii’s only navigable river and it flows through some of the exciting locations which were used for Jurassic Park, Raiders Of The Lost Ark and Blue Hawaii. Two volcanoes dominate the extraordinary island of Maui, which also features sandy beaches, green pastures, dense jungle and a bleak lunar-like landscape. On Waimea Beach in 1778, the English sea captain, James Cook, was the first European to set foot on Hawaiian territory. The Waimea Canyon was referred to by Mark Twain as ‘The Grand Canyon of the Pacific’, a massive gorge which has been carved out of the volcanic landscape by the Waimea River. From a Victorian style station there is the narrow-gauge Sugar Cane Train which travels through the once prolific sugar plantations of Kaanapali. Haleakale is the world’s largest dormant volcano with a crater as large as Manhattan. But nowhere else in the world can volcanoes be studied as safely as on Big Island in the Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park The Hawaiian Islands…priceless pearls in the Pacific Ocean.

A Plane Disappeared And Landed 37 Years Later
What would you do if you went on a vacation to another city and suddenly found yourself in another country altogether? Most of us would be confused. Even the most reckless of adventurers would at least raise an eyebrow if told they’d flown for close to half a century.
On July 2, 1955, Pan American Flight 914 made its way from New York to Miami, Florida. It was a fine sunny day, and 57 passengers on board the plane were looking forward to seeing the warm beaches and palm trees of Florida. The plane took off without trouble, but 3 hours later, when it should’ve already landed at the destination airport, it was nowhere to be seen. When air traffic control contacted the New York tower, they got a perplexing reply: Flight 914 just disappeared from the radars in mid-air.

SUMMARY:
- On July 2, 1955, Pan American Flight 914 made its way from New York to Miami, Florida. It was a fine sunny day, and 57 passengers on board the plane were looking forward to seeing the warm beaches and palm trees of Florida.
- Everything indicated that the plane was lost: apart from having vanished from the radars, air traffic control couldn’t get through to the pilots with the radio.
- Eventually, although the case was never really solved, there was an official statement that the plane crashed, taking the lives of everyone on board.
- Change of scenery. It’s now September 9, 1992, and we’re in Caracas, Venezuela. It’s a perfectly normal day for Juan de la Corte, air traffic controller at the Caracas airport.
- Seemingly out of nowhere, a new dot appeared on the radar. It was as if an aircraft had just popped up from nothingness, or as if it had been hiding from the radar and now decided to show up.
- In less than 10 minutes, the culprit showed up in the field of vision. At first it looked to the air traffic control like an ordinary airplane, but as it got closer, they could see that it was, in fact, very oldю
- The real confusion began when the pilot of the mysterious aircraft contacted the tower and asked in English, “Where are we?”
- The pilot said his flight was scheduled to land at the Miami airport at 9.55 am on July 2, 1955. Now it was time for the tower to fall into silence.
- Ground units were immediately called to assist the plane and the passengers, and it landed without trouble. Having relaxed a little bit, Juan finally decided to ask something that bothered him. “Do you know today is May 21, 1992?”
- Juan heard the flight captain’s panicky voice saying, “No! Stay away! We’re leaving now!” And indeed, he started the engines again and, without waiting for take-off clearance, taxied the plane to the runway.
- There’s much dispute about the credibility of this event. Back in 1985, a tabloid called Weekly World News was the first to cover this story.
- However, the legend still lives, and many sources retell it in their own way. Some even go as far as to say that the passengers of the plane eventually returned to their homes.
- One thing that keeps popping up on the Internet and piquing the interest of paranormal enthusiasts is a small pocket calendar that somehow was left on the Caracas airport runway when the notorious plane took off.
