Bilbao Spain Walking Tour
Bilbao, an industrial port city in northern Spain, is surrounded by green mountains. It’s the de facto capital of Basque Country, with a skyscraper-filled downtown. It’s famed for the Frank Gehry–designed Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, which sparked revitalization when it opened in 1997. The museum houses prominent modern and contemporary works, but it’s the curvy, titanium-clad building that receives the most attention.

[4K] CASCO VIEJO (OLD TOWN) BILBAO SPAIN WALKING TOUR
Take a walking tour through Casco Viejo (Old Town) Bilbao Spain. Starting at one of the famous bridges in Bilbao, I walk through the winding streets of Casco Viejo (Old Town) Bilbao Spain.
Info on Casco Viejo Bilbao Spain: Casco Viejo forms the medieval old quarter, a lively riverside district of narrow alleys lined with modern shops and traditional taverns. La Ribera market has food stalls in a boatlike waterfront structure, flanked by pintxo bars serving Basque tapas on sticks. Santiago Cathedral is a 14th-century landmark rising to a dramatic Gothic spire, and Teatro Arriaga draws well-dressed crowds to opera and dance performances.

Walk around the old street in the Casco Viejo area and go to one of the many bars to sample the pintxos - tapas style bar snacks - famous in this region.
Visit the Mercado de la Ribera (main market) to see or the food stalls or visit the bars in the same building in the evening for some beer and a delicious selection of foods available.
Puente Colgante is the world’s oldest transporter bridge and located in Bilbao - the most unusual bridge, you can cross in your car or on foot.
For aerial views over the city head up Artxanda Mountain on the funicular railway.
We had a fabulous time there.
When we left we visited Butron Castle - and San Juan de Gaztelugatxe - (castle rock) is the most beautiful church on an island - accessed along a long walkway - well worth a visit.

Tiny Tour | Bilbao Spain | Going through the old town 2019 Autumn
Hi guys, in this episode of tiny tour in Bilbao's old town, you might notice there're so many vans delivering to shops and restaurants. Because those vans are only allowed to go inside the old town in certain hour in the morning.
Bilbao (Bilbo) is a city in northern Spain, the largest city in the province of Biscay and in the Basque Country. It is the tenth largest city in Spain, with a population of 345,000. This time we gave it a little walk around its old town. There many fantastic historical structures in this area, like The Church of Saint Anthony the great from 1510, Ribera Market built in 1840, Santiago Cathedral from 15th century, Miguel de Unamuno Square which is named after the Spanish writer and philosopher Miguel de Unamuno, who was born in bilbao in 1864. New Square (la Plaza Nueva), and the Arriaga Theater from 1890 by the Spanish architect Joaquín de Rucoba. I hope you enjoy it.
