In the Final part of this Fraser Island Kgari 4wd adventure we further explorer the West Coast and visit some pretty remote beaches, have lunch at Sandy Creek and further check out the amazingly beautiful Moon Point and Moon Creek. We find a Hidden Rock from QLD Rocks and I go over my first impressions with the new BFG KM3 tyres on my Landcruiser 105. We visit a huge hollow small leave Fig Tree which you could climb in the crown. Back on Fraser's East Coast, we have a competition who can Kill the most March Flies and I have to fend of a Dingo with my Tripod. High tide makes most of the beach undrivable and we divert to another early morning swim at Lake McKenzie again without a single soul around. We explorer Central Station and do the stunning Wanggoolba Creek boardwalk along the ancient rain forest, the rare King Ferns and the crystal clear creek. After Fraser my first trip always is the Rainbow Beach Car wash and this time I even stay another day in Brisbane and get the Underbody of my Land Cruiser 105 Rust treated by Rust Free.

Fraser Island - Central Station, Wanggoolba Creek, InSkip
Inskip to Fraser Island, Central Station and Wanggoolba Creek, home to the giant king fern. Central Station is a former logging camp (1863-1991) and is now a wildlife ranger Information station. Some typical old logging houses are still there. There is a walking track that will take you to Wanggoolba Creek board walk. Basin Lake Hike - Fraser Island
Basin Lake is a small perched freshwater lake on Fraser Island in Queensland, Australia. It can be reached via a few different hiking tracks but the one that is used the most goes from Central Station via Wanggoolba Creek and is about a 5.5 km return trip. With the close proximity of the thick vegitation the lake is reasonably protected from the wind making it an attractive secluded location that is not visited as much as many of the other lakes in the area.

An ORV (Off Road Vehicle) lovers delight! This is some footage from our trip to Oz a few years back. This is the largest sand island in the world and is only accessible to 4WD vehicles - such a great place to go camping! I would love to go back sometime with a dirtbike!

We took day trip from Hervey Bay to 'The Worlds Largest Sand Island - FRASER ISLAND' and had a blast!
We saw highlights such as the SS Maheno, Lake Mckenzie, Eli Creek, Seventy Five Mile Beach, Wanggoolba Creek in Central Station Rainforest along with some dingos, kookaburras and whales!
What an incredibly unique and naturally beautiful place in the world.

Today we take a short drive from camp to Eli Creek passing the Maheno ship wreck on the way to Eli Creek and take a walk through the creek followed by pool floaties.
