Touring The Clinton Presidential Library - Little Rock, Arkansas
Ushering in each new president might mean the changing of the guard, but it also means the display of a legacy as the retiring President is allowed to tell their combined life works through a unique museum of sorts, the Presidential Library. Documenting diplomacy, correspondence and legacy, each President is able to put a capsule of their time in office in the hands of those seeking knowledge.
When in Little Rock, I was able to visit just one of these libraries, the Clinton Presidential Library. Unlike others which I had visited the unique structure along with the items within gave me a better understanding of the 8 years of service Bill Clinton contributed to the United States.

In this episode, we take you inside the Oval Office, in the deep South! We'll step inside the William J. Clinton Presidential Center. Plus, we catch up to the 42nd President himself who talks about food, the future & the tools you'll need to succeed.
Plus, what JFK is doing at Abe Lincoln's Library in Springfield, Illinois. A collection of presidents are gathered in Pacific, Missouri in an Opera House from the 1904 World's Fair. We hear from author and first daughter Chelsea Clinton who made a stop at the St. Louis Zoo. And where Chelsea can house her new books, we visit her Mom's public library making a difference in the Little Rock community.

Clinton Library: More Than One Million Visits
On August 19, former U.S. President Bill Clinton turns 62. In 1992, he became the 42nd President of the United States, serving until 2001. About four years ago, the Clinton Library and Museum opened in Arkansas, his home state. The library is filled with memorabilia that chronicles the Clinton presidency. VOA's Deborah Block has more.

Got to see the Clinton library. It was interesting. It is huge...and a little warehouse-ish. Lots of glass and tall, tall ceilings which made it noisy. It had lots and lots of information everywhere, which also made it difficult to figure out. But, I saw what I wanted to see. And, that was no surprise. See what you think.

This is the first thing you see when you go into the Library. The Beast, or the Presidential Transport limousine. This is the last limo that will be in any Presidential Library.
This is the last one they made that was actually a car that they armored. They took a car off the production line, then HIGHLY modified it from the frame up. After this, with Bush 43's car, instead of using the frame of a Cadillac, they used the frame of a Suburban and made the thing LOOK like a Sedan. Then, with Obama's Beast, they went a step further and used the frame of a GMC Topkick and probably use that today with Trump's version.

This clip shows the exterior of the Library and a walk across the bridge. As I was walking across the bridge, there was a little alcove and it made me think of the time that I was walking across the bridge over the river Kwai near the border of Burma. As I was walking across that bridge, there was a fiddle man working his fiddle and he started playing the whistle theme that was in the movie. Thought it was funny then, so I included it here.
