This beautiful and underrated Work Heritage area has camping allowed. BBQs are available, and a picnic area with shelters. There are other walks nearby such as the Chandler walking track.
Also called New England, these falls in the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park are also part of a bigger, stunning heritage trail called the Waterfall Way Drive, running East- West, from the Pacific Highway to the New England Highway at Armidale.
A very beautiful area, well worth visiting!
Our visit was on 10 April 2019 and there was no water. However, when it has water it is even more amazing to see!

Bushwalking at Wollomombi Falls 2017
Hi guys, this is my video from the weekend (22 oct 2017). I went bushwalking with my family at Wollomombi Falls which is part of the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park in NSW Australia. It's about a half hour drive from Armidale. There are lots of rapids, waterfalls and really deep gorges. The view from the top is amazing but looking down gave me vertigo. Wollomombi Falls - New South Wales Hiking
A short hike to a few of the lookouts around Wollomombi Falls, near Armidale in Northern NSW. The falls are one of the tallest in Australia, and we hiked a couple of trails that lead to views across the gorge to the falls, as well as to the river above the waterfall itself.
