Provincetown's Lighthouse
lighthouses between Plymouth and Provincetown filmed by Twombly Publishing
( where you can buy the book Horses and People Matching for the lowest online price) filmed a few lighthouses from on board one of the Capt. John Boats out of Plymouth Harbor. ( you can only hold a camera so steady while on board a boat! :) more of P-Town to come, and although it has no relevance to the lovely horse book it's still fun to view :)
Race Point at Provincetown
The unusual events of a spit barrier beach created by littoral drift and glaciers: when the colors of the winter sky match that of the purplish sands. This is a temporal event, here one day, gone the next. The trip from Provincetown Harbor around Wood End light, past Long Point to Herring Cove and Hatches Harbor is worth the trip, if long. In April, whales feed in the race, and are highly visible. This is a good time of year: tourist season has not yet begun and there is very little boat traffic. You have the waters and shores largely to yourself. Moreover the view west, towards Duxbury and Plymouth and the contours of the South Shore.

MARTHA'S VINEYARD - Island off of Cape Cod in Massachusetts
Martha's Vineyard is an island roughly four miles south of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. The only public access to the island is via ferry. It is far more populated in the summer season, and is a common vacation destination for people in the Northeast. There are three population centers: Oak Bluffs (where most ferries take you to), Edgartown, and Vineyard Haven (Officially the town of Tisbury). Another common tourist destination is the far end of the island, in the town of Aquinnah. This tour leads you clock-wise around the island on a nice summer day, starting and ending in Oak Bluffs and on the ferry.
