Disneyland Park, originally Disneyland, is the first of two theme parks built at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim,

It was originally the only attraction on the property; its name was changed to Disneyland Park to distinguish it from the expanding
complex in the 1990s.
Walt Disney came up with the concept of Disneyland after visiting various amusement parks with his daughters in the 1930s and 1940s.
He initially envisioned building a tourist attraction adjacent to his studios in Burbank to entertain fans who wished to visit; however,
he soon realized that the proposed site was too small. After hiring a consultant to help him determine an appropriate site for his project,
Walt bought a 160-acre (65 ha) site near Anaheim in 1953. Construction began in 1954 and the park was unveiled during a special televised
press event on the ABC Television Network on July 17, 1955.
Since its opening, Disneyland has undergone a number of expansions and major renovations, including the addition of New Orleans Square in 1966,
Bear Country (now Critter Country) in 1972, and Mickey's Toontown in 1993. Opened in 2001, Disney California Adventure Park was built on the site
of Disneyland's original parking lot.
Disneyland has a larger cumulative attendance than any other theme park in the world, with over 650 million guests since it opened.
In 2013 the park hosted approximately 16.2 million guests, making it the third most visited park in the world that calendar year.[2]
According to a March 2005 Disney Company report 65,700 jobs are supported by the Disneyland Resort, including about 20,000 direct Disney
employees and 3,800 third-party employees (independent contractors or their employees).

-------- Radiator Springs Racers --------
Radiator Springs Racers is the centerpiece of Cars Land at Disney California Adventure! This is a full ride-through in HD. The ride includes Mater, Lightning McQueen, Doc Hudson and other favorite Cars characters!
-------- California Screamin' --------
California Screamin' is a wood-mimicking steel roller coaster located at Disney California Adventure in Anaheim, California. Opened on February 8, 2001, California Screamin' is one of the park's original rides, and is the only roller coaster at the Disneyland Resort to feature an inversion. Its top speed of 55 miles per hour (89 km/h) makes it the fastest ride at the Disneyland Resort and one of the fastest rides at any Disney theme park.
History
The boardwalk-themed coaster was designed by Ingenieur Büro Stengel GmbH and was built by Intamin. California Screamin' is the eighth-longest rollercoaster in the world (and third-longest steel coaster in the United States), at 6,072 feet (1,851 m) long. It is also the longest ride with an inversion (since Son of Beast became defunct). Its highest point is 120 feet (37 m) followed by a 108-foot (33 m) drop. Though built of steel, the structure as designed visually mimics the features of a wooden coaster.
This coaster has some distinctive features. It uses a linear induction motor to launch the train up the first hill, replacing the traditional lift hill chain. This coaster is one of Disney's fastest attractions, accelerating guests from zero to 55 miles per hour (89 km/h) in four seconds at the launch. Like Space Mountain and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, California Screamin' is set to music. It is the only inverting ride in the Disneyland Resort. This attraction offers both FASTPASS and Single Rider entrances.
On November 5, 2010, the attraction's original recorded safety spiels were updated with the voice of actor Neil Patrick Harris.

Disneyland Tips: 10 Things To Know Before You Go To Disneyland
Things YOU need to know before you visit Disneyland in Anaheim California. First, buy your Disneyland tickets in advance. The worst place to buy tickets is at the front gate. The front gate ticket booths always have long lines, and they are the most expensive. EXPAND DESCRIPTION FOR MORE.
2. Theme Park Layout - Two Theme Parks, Disneyland and California Adventure. Downtown Disney with shopping and hotels.
3. When to go to avoid crowds - Avoid Christmas and the height of the summer. Use a crowd tracker website to gauge how busy it will be. Rainy days are awesome! Mornings are the least busy.
4&5. Food - My favorite food item at Disneyland is the Earl's Club Sandwich at the Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney. In the Disneyland Theme Park my favorite is the fried chicken at the Plaza Inn. I also enjoy the corn dogs, and the gumbo.
6. Lines & Rides - Yes, you will be waiting in lines when you come to Disneyland. Make smart use of the fast pass. For $10 extra a day you can buy a Max Pass which lets you get fast-passes from your mobile phone.
7. Stroller Parking - Designated stroller parking, but don't leave any valuables on the strollers.
8. Shows - Disneyland has great shows, but one of the neatest things about the park are the pop-up shows, parades, bands. Enjoy them! Fantasmic and World of Color are the big shows.
9. Shopping - Coolest gift shops are in New Orleans. Many stores have unique items in them -- so if you like shopping visit all the stores.
10. Downtown Disney - some of the best restaurants are here, movie theater, and 2 hotels.

IT'S A SMALL WORLD (Full Ride) Disneyland - POV SUPER HIGH QUALITY (1080p HD)
it's a small world
Embark on the happiest cruise that ever sailed! Tour delightful pastel scenes from around the globe, meet fantastical friends and sing along with a cherished Disney melody. it's a small world celebrates a simple, but powerful, idea: if we view the world through the wondrous eyes of a child, we'll realize how much we have in common, and the world will be at peace. Come join the children's hopeful song!
Bon Voyage
Board your boat and set sail on a nearly 15-minute intercontinental expedition around the Seven Seaways canal. Float past the lush animal-shaped topiaries into the most harmonious place in Disneyland Park. Travel from snowy Alps to dusty plains, from arid deserts to tropical isles. Spot skiing Scandinavians, hula-ing Hawaiians, sailing Spanish, dancing Dutch and merry Mexicans.
The joyful journey ends with a magical and heart-warming grand finale featuring all the world's children singing together as one. Say goodbye, Aloha or au revoir to your global friends —you'll be humming their melody all day long
The Dolls
From toy soldiers to ballerinas to vaqueros to Chinese acrobats, see more than 300 animated dolls representing over 100 regions from around the world. Disney Legend Alice Davis painstakingly researched and designed individual costumes for each doll, inspired by the traditional wardrobe of each culture. Some familiar new faces debuted on February 6, 2009 with the addition of dolls representing select Disney and Disney·Pixar characters.
The Scenes
Designed by legendary Disney artist Mary Blair, the settings are as spectacular and whimsical as the dolls. Resembling a fantasy world lovingly crafted out of construction paper, ribbon, glitter, buttons, fabric and papier-mâché, the sets' simplicity and inventiveness recall the wide-eyed creations of a child. Float past scenes representing:
The Polar Regions
The British Isles
Western Europe
Eastern Europe
The Middle East
Asia
Africa
South America
Under the Sea
The South Pacific
The United States
The Song
Written and composed by the Academy Award® winning team of brothers Richard and Robert Sherman, the song it's a small world has become one of the most well-known tunes of all time. The infectious melody is sung in the native language of the respective dolls and is orchestrated using instruments indigenous to each region— including Scottish bagpipes, Peruvian reed flutes and Tahitian drums.
Walt Disney originally envisioned using the national anthems for each country. He quickly discovered that while the world may one day sing in perfect harmony, our national anthems will always be sung to different tunes. Walt asked the Sherman Brothers to write a single song to avoid a musical cacophony.
The Famous Façade
Be sure to check out the attraction's kinetic façade, complete with spinning flowers, whirligigs and icons depicting famous world landmarks. The highlight is the animated 30-foot-tall clock tower. Watch as every 15 minutes the clock tower opens up to display a multinational parade of 24 animated figures. Once the procession ends, 2 toy jesters appear and herald the current time
it's a small world holiday
During Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, it's a small world is transformed into it's a small world holiday. During this special time of year, the classic it's a small world song is joined by traditional holiday tunes, regional holiday decorations brighten up the ride, and thousands of festive lights adorn the attraction façade. Take a trip to Disneyland Park and feel the holiday spirit!
History
Personally supervised by Walt Disney, it's a small world was created for the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair in honor of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
Attracting more than 10 million visitors, it's a small world was such a smash hit that when the World's Fair ended, Walt had it shipped piece-by-piece to Disneyland Park, where it reopened on May 28, 1966. The rededication ceremony featured children from around the world pouring water from their native land into the Seven Seaways.
Due to its immense popularity, it's a small world has been replicated in every Disney Resort around the world.

Anaheim police on Monday said they're continuing their investigation of a violent fight involving members of the same family visiting Disneyland after video of the brawl surfaced online. Wendy Burch reports for the KTLA 5 Morning News at 6 on July 8, 2019.
