HAIKOU sightseeing, Qilou old street, snack streets, Wugong Temple, Hainan
Haikou was a safe, clean and beautiful city. Lots of electric scooters and buses around. Shopping malls, restaurants, cafes and street food were easy to find. We were there in November and the weather was quite pleasant. I hope you enjoy our video.
雲朵 - 又何苦 [海口 五公祠、蘇公祠 Temple of Five Lords (Wugong Ci) , Haikou ]
Temple of Five Lords ( Wugong Ci ) Haikou Hainan
The Temple of Five Lords (Five Officials' Temple or Wugong Ci in Chinese), is approximately 5 kilometers (about 3.1 miles) from the centre of Haikou City, and was originally constructed during the reign of Emperor Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It was renovated on several occasions during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Now, it is a place known for its sense of peace, tranquility and beauty.
After many years of renovation and development, the existing Temple of Five Lords are now an attractive ancient architectural complex that mainly include the Five Lords Ancestral Hall, the Sugong Memorial Temple, Hairui and Fubo memorial temples, Guanjia Tang (Watching Crop Hall) and Xuepu Tang (Studying Hall). They cover an area of about 2,800 square meters (about 0.69 acres).
Five Lords Ancestral Hall
The Five Lords Ancestral Hall is the main part of this building complex and is considered to be the No.1 Building in Hainan even though it is only a two-storied wooden building. This was constructed to commemorate the five famous officials- Li Deyu, Li Gang, Zhao Ding, Li Guang and Hu Quan who were banished to Hainan during the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and the Song Dynasty (960-1279). The main hall houses the vivid and lifelike stone statues of the five prestigious officials. On the inner pillars, there are two much praised couplets which visitors, having learnt about the background of the five officials, cannot help but admire. Additionally, a stone tablet that is carved with calligraphy inscriptions of Emperor Huizong, from the Song Dynasty, is also displayed in the temple.
Sugong Temple
Sugong Temple, located in the east of Temple of Five Lords, is another fascinating destination. Su Dongpo was one of the greatest poets of the Song Dynasty. He dug two springs for the locals when he heard that they were finding it difficult to get water supplies. Hence the local people constructed a temple to commemorate his contribution to their community. One of the springs still exists even to this day.
Xuepu Tang & Wugong Jingshe
On the right of the Temple of Five Lords, there is a peaceful yard where fresh flowers and thriving trees are planted. There are two main buildings here. One, the Xuepu Tang (literally Gardening Study Hall), is the old site where the famous scholar Guo Wanxiang often gave lectures. The other is Wugong Jingshe (West Hall), which is where the students of the Hainan Province, (at the end of the Qing Dynasty) learned historical works and poems.
五公祠位於海南省海口市，建於明萬曆年間（1573~1619），是為紀念唐、宋朝時期貶謫到海南的五位著名歷史人物：唐朝名相李德裕（唐朝宰相）、李綱和趙鼎（均為宋朝宰相）、李光和胡銓（均為宋朝的大學士）五位歷史名臣而建的，故名五公祠。
五公祠陸續續建至20世紀初，為一組古建築群的統稱。主要由五公祠、蘇公祠、伏波祠、觀稼堂、學輔堂、洗心軒和五公祠陳列館組成。
五公祠為該建築群的主體建築，是一座二層木質結構、單式斗拱的紅樓，佔地面積560平方米，樓高10米，人稱 “海南第一樓”。
蘇公祠位於五公祠左側，建築面積270平方米，始建於明萬曆四十五年（公元1617年），係後人為紀念被貶謫來瓊的宋代大文豪蘇東坡而建。祠內陳列有蘇東坡的詩詞、碑刻等珍貴文物。
此外還有兩伏波祠，是為紀念西漢前伏波將軍路博德、東漢後伏波將軍馬援征討叛亂，平定海疆，將海南正式納入中國版圖而建，表彰了他們維護祖國統一、加強民族團結的英雄業績。

Hainan adalah provinsi paling selatan Cina yang berbatasan langsung dengan Vietnam. Pulau seluas 34.438 kilometer persegi ini adalah rumah bagi pemandangan laut yang elegan dan situs bersejarah, serta puluhan daerah wisata dan daya tarik lainnya. China pun telah menetapkan Hainan sebagai pulau pariwisata internasional pada tahun 2008.
Haikou adalah ibukota dari provinsi Hainan yang berada di utara dekat teluk Haikou dan menghadap ke semenanjung Leizhou. Kota ini pun memiliki iklim yang cukup hangat dibandingkan dengan kota-kota lain di China. Bagi wisatawan muslim yang merencanakan halal tour, anda bisa menemukan masjid di kota ini dan juga restoran halal di dekatnya.
Berikut adalah beberapa alasan untuk mengunjungi kota Haikou di China :
1. Dongzhai Port Nature Reserve
Cagar alam mini berada di Dongzhai Harbor yang merupakan cagar alam bakau terbesar dan pertama di China. Pelabuhan Dongzhai terletak di timur laut kota Haikou. Cagar alam ini merupakan hutan tropis yang khas, dan berbagai jenis pohon bakau dapat dilihat di sana. Cagar Alam Pelabuhan Dongzhai juga disebut 'surga untuk burung'. Sekitar 159 spesies burung menghuni cagar, termasuk banyak burung migrasi langka. Jadi ini bukan hanya cadangan bakau nasional, tetapi juga merupakan lahan basah yang penting secara internasional terutama sebagai habitat unggas air
2. Holiday Beach
Pantai holiday adalah resor rekreasi utama di sebelah barat Kota Haikou, di Provinsi Hainan. Pantai dengan panjang sekitar enam km ini memiliki iklim yang indah (suhu rata-rata 24°C dengan air yang berkilauan, lambaian pohon kelapa, dan banyak sinar matahari serta langit biru. Resor ini memiliki empat zona: Sea Sport, Food and Culture, The Fun Section dan Relaxation.
3. Nanli Lake
Danau Nanli adalah salah satu pemandangan yang terkenal di kota Haikou. Danau ini terletak di kabupaten Ding’an ini, sekitar 40 km dari Haikou. Danau ini merupakan danau besar buatan manusia. Pada tahun 1958, orang-orang Ding'an membangun Waduk Nanfu di sini. Akibatnya, air yang terkumpul di lembah menjadi Danau Nanli dan pegunungan menjadi pulau-pulau di danau. Pulau-pulau di Danau Nanli sangat unik, ada 13 pulau dan lima semenanjung di semuanya
4. Shimey Bay
Teluk Shimey terletak di pantai barat daya Kota Wanning, sekitar 160 km selatan kota Haikou. Teluk Shimei ini terdiri dari dua teluk berbentuk bulan sabit. Berkat laut dan pegunungan di sekitarnya, teluk ini memiliki pemandangan alam yang indah. Hiburan terbaik di sini adalah berenang, mengumpulkan kerang laut atau menyeruput kopi di kafe. Selain itu,terdapat aktivitas lain yang menyenangkan di danau ini.
5. Five Ministers Temple
Kuil Lima Menteri, atau Kuil Wugong, dengan luas total 66.000 meter persegi, terletak di Jalan Guoxing Qiongshan di Haikou, Hainan. Kuil Wugong adalah tempat perjalanan yang memadukan arsitektur tradisional, situs kuno, dan taman. Wugong berarti lima kuil, dan merujuk pada lima pejabat terkenal dari dinasti Tang dan Song. Mereka melakukan banyak hal pada budaya dan ekonomi Hainan. Untuk mengingat mereka, orang-orang Hainan pun membangun Kuil Wugong.

Sanya China Travel Vlog. Yalong Bay Beach Review. Here is another video – this time about vacation in China on the Hainan island in the city of Sanya. And in this review I will show you the beach we enjoyed. Sea is around 5-10 minutes walking distance from our hotel. The path to the sea is very thematic, as if you are going down in a video game to a pirate beach, and it even seems that pirates with large daggers will meet you.
Free sunbeds are available right after the descent. The beach is completely open, and according to local laws, hotels cannot have their own beach, and therefore everyone can walk on it. In this video you will see a calm sea, but another video awaits you, when a storm raged on the sea. So if you are not signed yet – click on the bell under the video and you will enjoy a lot of interesting reviews from “Under-Heavenly” China.
By the way, Hainan Island is washed by the waters of the South China Sea. The sea is very clean, and during the whole vacation, only once we saw a jellyfish of dark purple color, it was huge. The Chinese themselves are panicky afraid of water, and only a few of them dare to go to the deep.
And, moreover, the majority go inside water with a lifebuoy, rubber rings and other safeguarding equipment for just not to get drowned in the water knee-deep. Funny are these Chinese. There are special areas in the sea where you can swim. Same as at any beach, various water activities are offered.
You can ride on various jet skis, bananas and other attractions. Chinese also love to arrange wedding photo shoots on this beach. During peak hours, once we spotted 20 couples that were simultaneously making memorable photos by the sea. The beach is beautiful, the sea is warm, but there is unpleasant sediment due to the cleanliness of the beach.
Chinese litter and do not clean up after themselves. By evening, lots of garbage is left over. There will be a separate review on my channal dedicated to the cleanliness of the beach. What else surprised that after 7 pm, the lifeguards do not allow to enter the sea, expelling everyone out of the water.
What’s even more surprising, is that when it’s raining, they prohibit swimming in the sea and even in the pools in the hotel!
