Xetulul Theme Park 4K Resolution Guatemala Part 1
Xetutul is a theme park in Guatemala. It is located in the Retalhuleu Department in the southwest of the country. Opening in 2002,[1] Xetutul is the third largest amusement park in Latin America, after Beto Carrero World in Penha, Santa Catarina, Brazil and Six Flags México near Mexico City, Mexico.[2] Xetutul is associated with the nearby Xocomil waterpark, which opened in 1997, and together the two parks receive over one million visitors every year, making the parks the most popular tourist attraction in the country.[1]
Xetulul and Xocomil are operated by the Institute for the Recreation of Guatemalan Private Industry Workers (IRTRA)—a private company that operates several other parks in Guatemala, as well as nearby hotels and restaurants.

Walking through the Xocomil Water park - Retalhuleu - Guatemala
This is a video of my trip by chicken bus from Xela to the xocomil Water park. It actually turned out to be a pretty nice trip and i enjoyed the place but shortly after filming the slight drizzle of rain turned into a storm and most of the rides were closed.
Parque Acuatico Xocomil is one of several attractions built by private businesses for their workers. members and workers of IRTRA. For visitors it costs around 100Q. It's located in a small town called San Martín Zapotitlán located in the lowlands heading towards Champerico on the pacific coast in the department of Retalhuleu. It also includes another amusement park with small rides for kids. I believe for 140Q you get a day pass to both.
It was near impossible for me to get in. My spanish is horrible and i was drinking a soda and there are 2 entrances, one for cars adn the other for foot traffic. I tried to get into the foot traffic area and the guard kept trying to tell me something in spanish I couldn't understand. He then sent me to the car entrance and i had the same problem. I finally figured out that they thought I was drinking alcohol and telling me not to bring alcohol in the park. I went back to the right entrance and passed after showing ID then at the ticket counter without my soda they still pounded me with demands and accusations about bringing alcohol into the park. Finally they let me pay and get in. Not only that but before this problem The Retalhuleu bound chicken bus I hopped on in Xela dropped me off passed the park and i had to find a Microbus and pay an extra 4Q to get directly to the park from some unknown village . My way home was much easier. i waited outside the gate with others going in various directions and soon a chicken bus pulled up yelling XELA!, XELA! so i just hopped on it and paid 15Q to get back home.

El IRTRA de Reu nunca decepciona a los visitantes, desde su inauguración Xocomil y Xetulul se convirtieron en sinónimo de buenas vacaciones. Ahora IRTRA inauguró su tercer parque de diversiones enfocado en la naturaleza, Xejuyup, más una nueva área de hoteles que visitaremos, llamada Aldea de la Selva. Vamos a ver la MONTAÑA RUSA.
