The temple follows the Hungarian or the Byzantine rite and serves as the cathedral of the Eparchy of Miskolc that got its current status by decision of Pope Francis in March 2015 as part of the reorganization of the Greek Catholic Hungarian Church, one of the eastern churches in full communion with the Pope in Rome.The construction style has pre-modern and neo-Gothic elements.

The synagogue was built between 1854 and 1859 in the Moorish Revival style, with the decoration based chiefly on Islamic models from North Africa and medieval Spain .     Andrássy Castle is located in the north-eastern part of Hungary, in Tiszadob, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County. It was designed by Artúr Meinig for Count Gyula Andrássy, who was the second Foreign Minister of Austria-Hungary and first Hungarian prime minister. The legend says that the count built the castle in honour of Empress Elisabeth of Austria but it is not proven that she ever stayed in Tiszadob.
