The garden is 5.5 hectares with a rectangular shape and a wall around it. It consists of an entrance structure and gate at the lower end and a two-floor residential structure at the upper end. The distance between these two is ornamented with water fountains that are engined by the natural incline of the land. The garden is a fine example of Persian gardens that take advantage of suitable natural climate.     The Cypress of Abarkuh , also called the Zoroastrian Sarv, is a Cupressus sempervirens tree in Abarkuh in Yazd Province of Iran. It is protected by the Cultural Heritage Organization of Iran as a national natural monument and is indeed a major tourist attraction with a height of 25 metres and with a perimeter of 11.5 meters at its trunk and 18 meters higher up around its branches. It is estimated to be over four millennia old and is likely the second-oldest living thing in Asia.This cypress is estimated to be between 4000 to 5000 years but it is hardly possible to tell the exact age of the tree. Favorable natural conditions of its location have been credited as the main reason for the tree’s longevity.There is a fairytale about the tree, which says the tree is first planted by Zoroaster.

    The Bird Garden of Isfahan was founded in 1998 by the municipality of Isfahan and it is now under the supervision of the recreation and welfare organization of the municipality. The garden has an area of 17000 m². It's enclosed and covered by a chain-link fence pitched on 16 moveable metal pillars with a height of up to 32 m. More than 5000 birds from 130 different species are kept in the garden. The birds are native to different parts of Iran and also other countries like Australia, Indonesia, China, and Tanzania.

Most of the trees in this 7.5 hectare garden are citrus such as Orange and sour orange.
