So, yea, if you are thinking of heading to Grampians, it would take about 3 hours to get to Halls Gap, which is the little town at the base of the mountain. Here you can get a map and also a quick bite to eat. but there isn't really much food there, so bring some of your own.
Mckenzie Falls is the furthest stop away and requires a hike down and back up once all your pictures are taken. it is a beautiful waterfall. Also keep your eye out for Wallabies hopping around.
Next up is Reeds lookout, or Reids, I'm not actually sure. but yea, this one's great for pictures. no hike required, you can just drive up to it.
Lastly is Boroka Lookout, the view here is great and is the closest to Halls Gap. Also no hike required, just drive up to the view and enjoy it.
There is one place that we didn't get to visit, and that's the Pinnacle. its a 2 hour hike and we just ran out of time. so yea.

Landscape Photography - Glen Affric Autumn Adventure #glenaffric #sunrise
I took myself off to Glen Affric a location I have been to a number of times now but never on the other side to where I have been to before and where most folk go to take photographs.
I headed off at 5am from Inverness and arrived to amazing conditions for my jawnt up to a loch off the track I was wanting to capture at sunrise and it did not disappoint, the conditions were perfect, no wind at all, no rain and a nice cool temperature of about 0c.
I walked for about 45 minutes through scrub, heather up to my knees, fell over numerous times, swore lots, lost my water bottle and fell down a hole but it was all so worth it, what a location and what great weather, then when the sun did come up it was absolutely stunning, the golden sunlight was streaming through the Caledonian forest, the leaves have started to change to yellows and oranges and it just lit up so beautifully.
I shall be going back again soon to do some more exploring for sure seeing as it's only 50 minutes from where I live.
