Babak Fort

Kaleybar ; also Romanized as Kalībar, Kalipar, Keleibar, and Keleivar) is a city and capital of Kaleybar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. According to the 2006 census, Kaleybar, with a population of 9,030 in 2,397 families, is the 25th most populated city of the province. In recent year the city has become a tourist destination thanks to its proximity to Babak Castle. In addition, as a result of geopolitical developments Kaleybar is gradually replacing Ahar as the capital city of Qareh Dagh region.

1. Arasbaran Protected Area Kaleybar
Arasbaran or Arasbar , also known as Qaradagh or Karadagh , or Qaraja dagh or Karaja dagh , is a large mountainous area stretching from the Qūshā Dāgh massif, south of Ahar, to the Aras River in East Azerbaijan Province of Iran. The region is confined to Aras River in the north, Meshgin Shahr County and Moghan in the east, Sarab County in the south, and Tabriz and Marand counties in the west. Since 1976, UNESCO has registered 72,460 hectares of the region, confined to 38°40' to 39°08'N and 46°39' to 47°02'E, as biosphere reserve with the following general description: This biosphere reserve situated in the north of Iran at the border to Armenia and Azerbaijan belongs to the Caucasus Iranian Highlands. Located in the Quru River valley between the long ridge of the volcanic cones of the Sahand and Eynali mountains, Tabriz' elevation range between 1,350 and 1,600 meters above sea level. The valley opens up into a plain that gently slopes down to the eastern shores of Lake Urmia, 60 kilometres (37 miles) to the west. With cold winters and temperate summers, the city is considered a summer resort.

Only 350 families live in this village while they managed to work together and they founded factories such as: MDF furniture, Shirt, etc.
Ersi villagers exporting their products to Armenia, Turkey and Azerbaijan Republic.
They also harvest 100'000 kg sour cherry per year.

Ersi village is comparable with an industrial zone. They've all the facilities and equipments like cities in Iran, Natural Gas pipeline is one of them.

In the recent years lots and lots villages in Iran have better situation in compare with some countries capital in this world.
It's noteworthy that Iran's government persuade people to stay in villages and use low price government aids instead. It make perfect opportunities for those who want to produce agricultural and industrial products with lower price.
