Kaleybar ; also Romanized as Kalībar, Kalipar, Keleibar, and Keleivar) is a city and capital of Kaleybar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. According to the 2006 census, Kaleybar, with a population of 9,030 in 2,397 families, is the 25th most populated city of the province. In recent year the city has become a tourist destination thanks to its proximity to Babak Castle. In addition, as a result of geopolitical developments Kaleybar is gradually replacing Ahar as the capital city of Qareh Dagh region.

1. Babak Fort Kaleybar
Bābak Khorramdin was one of the main Persian revolutionary leaders of the Iranian Khorram-Dinān , which was a local freedom movement fighting the Abbasid Caliphate. Khorramdin appears to be a compound analogous to dorustdin orthodoxy and Behdin Good Religion , and are considered an offshoot of neo-Mazdakism. Babak's Iranianizing rebellion, from its base in Azerbaijan in northwestern Iran, called for a return of the political glories of the Iranian past. The Khorramdin rebellion of Babak spread to the Western and Central parts of Iran and lasted more than twenty years before it was defeated when Babak was betrayed. Babak's uprising showed the continuing strength in Azerbaijan of ancestral Iranian local feelings.

Arasbaran or Arasbar , also known as Qaradagh or Karadagh , or Qaraja dagh or Karaja dagh , is a large mountainous area stretching from the Qūshā Dāgh massif, south of Ahar, to the Aras River in East Azerbaijan Province of Iran. The region is confined to Aras River in the north, Meshgin Shahr County and Moghan in the east, Sarab County in the south, and Tabriz and Marand counties in the west. Sabalan , or Savalan is an inactive stratovolcano in the Alborz mountain range and Ardabil Province of northwestern Iran. At 4,811 metres in elevation, it is the third highest mountain in Iran. It has a permanent crater lake formed at its summit. On one of its slopes around 3,600 metres in elevation there are large rock formations of eroded volcanic outcrops which resemble animals, birds, and insects.

Only 350 families live in this village while they managed to work together and they founded factories such as: MDF furniture, Shirt, etc.
Ersi villagers exporting their products to Armenia, Turkey and Azerbaijan Republic.
They also harvest 100'000 kg sour cherry per year.

Ersi village is comparable with an industrial zone. They've all the facilities and equipments like cities in Iran, Natural Gas pipeline is one of them.

In the recent years lots and lots villages in Iran have better situation in compare with some countries capital in this world.
It's noteworthy that Iran's government persuade people to stay in villages and use low price government aids instead. It make perfect opportunities for those who want to produce agricultural and industrial products with lower price.
