Kawamata is a town in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 May 2018, the town had an estimated population of 13,532 in 5417 households, and a population density of 110 persons per km². The total area of the town was 127.7 square kilometres .Kawamata is known for its production of silk and silk products. In the late 6th century, Ōtomo no Koteko, also known as Otehime, came to this area. According to tradition, she is honored for having encouraged silk farming in the area. 巡礼の旅その1 千貫森川俣村 A pilgrimage to Soma area Chapter 1 α A77 Movie

I took a journey to the area Soma in Fukushima prefecture with youtube user zaku655 whose address of youtube channel is here,

I decided to go to Minami-Soma area because of invitation sent from him.
MInami-Soma has not been broadcast as the serious damaged area by Tsunami caused by the earthquake occurred on 11th march 2011 yet.
But according to his description,this area was really damaged and
he hoped me to see the situation there.
I was so impressed by his message that I chose it as the destination on holidays called golden week in Japan.

We started a journey to Minami-Soma at the forest Sengan-mori by car,
which is called as the hometown of UFO, I don't know the reason why.
At first,I took the videos of the peaks Azuma-renpo(吾妻連峰),
and after that we arrived at the village Kawamata-mura where is well known as
one of the places affected by radioactive particles seriously.
In chapter 1 and 2,I'll show you the areas affected by radioactive substances and how they affected on people's lives.
And after chapter 3,I'll show you the areas affected by the great force of Tsunami's waves and things left after that.

I determined this journey as my pilgrimage to the area affected by Tsunami,
earthquake and the severe accident of Fukushima first nuclear power plant.

Zaku955氏の誘いを受けて最大の旅行の目的地を
南相馬としました。
彼の説明によると津波の影響を最も受けた地域であるそうです。
彼の運転と案内で千貫森から旅を始め吾妻連峰の偉容をビデオに収め
その後原発事故の影響を大きく受けた地域として知られる川俣村に立ち寄りました。

まず第一章、二章では原発事故の影響を受けた地域を取り上げ、3章以降で
津波の影響を受けた地域を紹介することとします。
