Llanpumsaint is a village and community in Carmarthenshire, Wales. In the 2001 UK Census, Llanpumsaint community had a population of 595. It is not to be confused with Pumsaint, a small village some distance away on the River Cothi. Llanpumsaint community comprises the neighbouring hamlet of Nebo, the Hindu community and temple at Skanda Vale and a number of farms. According to the 2001 Census, 50% of those living in Llanpumsaint community are able to speak, read and write Welsh, this is well above the 39% average recorded for Carmarthenshire in the same census.

1. Rhossili Bay Rhossili
Rhossili is a small village and community on the southwestern tip of the Gower Peninsula in Swansea. It is within an area designated as the first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the United Kingdom. The village has a community council and is part of the Gower parliamentary constituency, and the Gower electoral ward.

2. Barafundle Beach Stackpole
Barafundle Bay is a remote, slightly curved, east-facing sandy beach in Pembrokeshire, Wales, near Stackpole Quay and is part of the Stackpole Estate, managed by The National Trust. The beach, which was their private beach, was owned by the Cawdor family of Stackpole Court. On the northern approach to the beach are steps and a wall which were built by the owners to ease access to the beach.

This tour takes us to a beautiful Skande Vale Temple otherwise known as ''The Community of the Many Names of God'' located in the remote valley of Llanpumsaint Mountain, Carmarthen. West Wales.

Skanda Vale temples are open to everyone, regardless of their faith, and they allow an insight into the foundation of the Hindu religion and its concepts.

The main temples are the Lord Ranganatha, Subramanium and Maha Shakti.

Phoenix Tours has great respect for Skanda Vale Temple and provides transport as a service to Skanda Vale's followers. It is not a tourist attraction

Your Itinerary
Meet your Mini-bus on one of our pick up points and enjoy the overnight ride across London onto M4 then to Carmarthen, West of Wales. Here, the mini-bus will take you directly to the Skanda Vale Temple located in the valleys of Llanpumsaint Mountain. We arrive at the temple by early morning, just in time for the first Pooja (a prayer ceremony) and after a day of exploration into spiritualism and religion awaits. There are also interesting animals to see here such as elephants, cattle and deer.

After the morning Pooja (a prayer ceremony) you can enjoy the blessed food offered by the temple. After attending the early afternoon Pooja we leave the temple and join our group back on the mini-bus and make our way back cross to London returning approximately 8pm.
