Pendine Sands is 7 miles of beach on the shores of Carmarthen Bay on the south coast of Wales. It stretches west to east from Gilman Point to Laugharne Sands. The village of Pendine is close to the western end of Pendine Sands. In the early 1900s the sands were used as a venue for car and motor cycle races. From 1922 the annual Welsh TT motor cycle event was held at Pendine Sands. The firm, flat surface of the beach created a race track that was straighter and smoother than many major roads of the time. Motor Cycle magazine described the sands as the finest natural speedway imaginable.

The Pendine Museum of Speed is dedicated to the use of Pendine Sands for land speed record attempts. It was opened in 1996 in the village of Pendine, on the south coast of Wales, and is owned and run by Carmarthenshire County Council. The museum received 33,522 visitors in 2009.For part of the summer the museum houses Babs, the land speed record car in which J. G. Parry-Thomas was killed in 1927. Babs was excavated in 1969 after 42 years of burial on the beach at Pendine Sands, and restored over the following 16 years by Owen Wyn Owen.

Barafundle Bay is a remote, slightly curved, east-facing sandy beach in Pembrokeshire, Wales, near Stackpole Quay and is part of the Stackpole Estate, managed by The National Trust. The beach, which was their private beach, was owned by the Cawdor family of Stackpole Court. On the northern approach to the beach are steps and a wall which were built by the owners to ease access to the beach.

TENBY is a walled seaside town in Pembrokeshire, Wales, on the western side of Carmarthen Bay, and the name for the local government community of Tenby.

Notable features of Tenby include 2.5 miles (4.0 km) of sandy beaches; the 13th century medieval town walls, including the Five Arches barbican gatehouse; the 15th century St. Mary's Church; the Tudor Merchant's House (National Trust); Tenby Museum and Art Gallery; and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, part of Wales' only coastal National Park.
Boats sail from Tenby's harbour to the offshore monastic Caldey Island, while St Catherine's Island is a tidal island.
The town is served by Tenby railway station.

This video follows our family as we holiday for the May bank holiday weekend at the beginning of May 2019. This is shot at Hendra Holiday Park in Newquay just outside of Cornwall. As you can see the park is fantastic and a great place to visit. Made so much better that it is included in the Sun News Paper holiday offers and has a base price of £9.50 per person for a 3 day break. We paid just under £100 for the 3 days as we chose pool and entertainment passes as well as upgrading from the base caravan.
