Paniyeli Poru Rapids in Periyar River - An excellent picnic spot & tourist attractions
Here in Paniyeli Poru, water tumbles down the region in a series of tiny waterfalls. The water whispered with a smiling sort of way to show the foam face of the waterfalls. Well, I should say it's one of a kind.

A walk through the Paniyeli forest division will take you to the picnic spot. Yes, the walk indeed is a calm and relaxing experience as it creates a natural campaign. Be watchful while stepping in to the rocks as it is slippery and dangerous during monsoon.
Paniyeli Poru Waterfall is located in Kuruppampady, Panamkuzhy area which has many other major tourist attractions. The waterfall lay its way to Periyar river. Paniyeli Poru is a wonderful and unspolied picnic spot in the laps of the nature.

Hii guys.. I'm back with a new exciting Destination. Puliyani Para is located near Vallam - Panamkuzhy road. Or you can reach panamkuzhy via Perumbavoor, deviating from AM road at Kuruppampady, travelling through the Para - Panamkuzhy road. Paniyeli Poru is a place beside Panamkuzhy and Puliyanipara.
There is a Durga Temple above the Puliyani Para, which is believed to be placed during the Ancient period. There is also a well made digging rock which is in the shape of Chilanka, called Chilambu.
This place gives you the scenic views of Malayattoor Peak, Illithodu, The Periyar, Bhuthathankettu ranges and so many unknown mountain ranges..
So just come and Enjoy...!!

Iringole Forest Temple [ Perumbavoor Ernakulam Kerala India ]
Iringole Kavu is a famous Hindu In forest temple dedicated to Goddess Durga, situated in Kunnathunad Taluk of Ernakulam district, 2.5 km from Perumbavoor. This is one of the 108 Durga Temples in Kerala believed to have been consecrated by Lord Parasurama, the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu. Everyone can frequently visit this precious little forest in the middle of a highly populated area. The Bhagavathy temple is situated at the center of the forest of about sixty acres. The kavu or grove is spread over 60 acres, featuring an amazing variety flora. It holds a virgin patch of tropical rain forest. The structure of the temple is in the southwest of the grove, which includes sreekovil, namaskara mandapam with agra mandapam, valiya balikal and deepasthambham. The temple is surrounded by huge trees, which are believed to be around 500 years old. The climate is hot and humid so that a very rich flora and fauna include valuable herbs; medicinal plants, monkeys, squirrel and mynah are seen in the region. The verities of bird’s presence are also an added attraction.
