Wollombi is a small village in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia. It is within the Cessnock City Council LGA, situated 29 kilometres southwest of Cessnock and 128 km north of Sydney. To the south is the village of Laguna, to the east, the village of Millfield and to the north, the village of Broke. The valley is bordered to the west by the World Heritage listed Yengo National Park and the main road, the convict-built Great North Road forms one of the major legs of the Greater Blue Mountains Drive. 1. Australian Reptile Park Gosford
The Australian Reptile Park is located at Somersby on the Central Coast, New South Wales in Australia. It is about 50 kilometres North of Sydney, and is just off the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway. The park is home to a variety of reptiles, including snakes, lizards and crocodiles, as well as other Australian animals, such as koalas, kangaroos, cassowaries and Tasmanian devils. The park is heavily involved in snake and spider venom collection for use in the production of Antivenom and is credited for saving the lives of thousands. It is an institutional member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association .

We had a wedding to attend at the wineries in the Hunter and so decided to stay at Nelson Bay. It is only a short drive away and so worth the drive!
