Top 10 North America Scenic Drives - Washington State
One of the Top 10 North America Scenic Drives is in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. I-20 snakes it's way through the Cascade National Park to an elevation where even in the July heatwave, there are snow patches by the road. If travelling by motor-home or motorcycle, take note that the road surface is excellent.
Just when you think the scenery of rugged peaks, wildflowers and green alpine slopes can't be topped, the road brings you to Diablo Lake. Fed by glaciers the water takes on a blue color that just doesn't seem real. Memorable and truly one of the Top 10 North America Scenic Drives.

Washington State 2011 Staycation Guide
Washington State 2011 Staycation Guide. Cindy and I drove through Washington State on our way to Astoria Oregon, but we were struck by the beauty of the ever changing landscape of the emerald state. High mountain peaks give way to farmland and a coastline that can be a quaint fishing village or miles of beaches, and it's affordable even in the summer, peak tourist season.

Puget Sound Ferry - Washington State - Beautiful!!!
Beautiful scenery in every direction on the Keystone Ferry to Port Townsend, not every day is rainy in the Pacific Northwest, as a matter of fact this was during a heatwave with temperatures in Seattle reaching into the 90's F.
a loop of the Olympic Peninsula has to include at least one ferry crossing to experience the Pacific, and it is very affordable. The crossing here with a car and 2 people was less than $15 dollars. On some days you might even catch a glimpse of some killer whales and if it is raining then take it in stride, everything has its beauty.

I Love This Free Campground! CoffeePot Lake VanLife On the Road
Lets take a look around!
My name is Brian. I live on the road full time in my self built camper van. Join me on my adventures.
In this video I give a look around this free campground. This is a pack it in, pack it out campground. There is a vault toilet, but no running water. I have no cell signal at the campground, but just at the entrance I had a weak 4G signal. This was a beautiful spot! There are a group of osprey on the lake the are a joy to watch and listen to. The wild fires in the area are still not yet contained so I am moving east!

I have always wanted to try Motorcycle touring and what better way to jump in than an +1800 mile East Coast Road Trip. In this Episode, I leave Jesup, Georgia stay the night in Aberdeen, North Carlolina at Pine Gables of Aberdeen B&B. The next morning I woke up to a fabulous breakfast and then hit the road to Washington DC to stay with an old friend . On this trip I plan to share one of my favorite types of accommodation, Bed & Breakfasts. The entire trip I traveled on back roads off of highways for a much more enjoyable trip.

Bridges of Washington State
Bridges are something we take for granted and never appreciate their importance to us until they get taken away. I take to see some of the bridges I've visited. Maybe we should take a little time and love the bridges we use every day.
In this video I will give you a tour of some of the bridges I've used and been amazed by. The diversity and genius designs are widely different and some of them are truly works of art. I hope you will enjoy seeing them and maybe you will see bridges where you live that intrigue you too.
There a many more bridges in Washington that have not been included and if you have a favorite, please leave me a comment below. Thanks.
