Abertillery is the largest town and a community of the Ebbw Fach valley in what was the historic county of Monmouthshire, Wales. TENBY is a walled seaside town in Pembrokeshire, Wales, on the western side of Carmarthen Bay, and the name for the local government community of Tenby.

Notable features of Tenby include 2.5 miles (4.0 km) of sandy beaches; the 13th century medieval town walls, including the Five Arches barbican gatehouse; the 15th century St. Mary's Church; the Tudor Merchant's House (National Trust); Tenby Museum and Art Gallery; and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, part of Wales' only coastal National Park.

Newbridge Transitions Day

Year 6 pupils from around the Newbridge area came together for a transition day on Thursday 27th June 2013 at Newbridge School. The visiting pupils took part in an informative day where they learned about healthy eating and healthy lifestyles.

Year 6 pupils made their own healthy lunch, with ingredients provided by Sainsburys Pontllanfraith and Braces Bread.

Year 10 pupils gave a talk on healthy eating and helped Sport Caerphilly to teach a wide range of sports activities and games to the Year 6 pupils.
