Casa Tavasso was built in the 1700's, and it was owned by the Medici del Vascello family, who were deputy to the Kingdom Of Piedmont. The structure has been recently restructured and furnished with period furniture.
Casa Tavasso can be found just outside the centre of Asti (Quarto Superiore), and offers large rooms all with en-suite bathrooms, a mini-appartment, rooms suitable for the physically challenged, a small gym and sauna and gastronomic tours, just to name but a few!
It can be found just off the SS10 road (leading to and from the city of Alessandria). It's approximately 3 Km from the exit (Asti East) of the A21 motorway (Turin - Piacenza). It is situated in a strategic position as it is near all of the places and events of interest: e.g. The Palio of Asti, The prestigious truffle mushroom exhibition in Alba, the historical re-enactment of the siege of Canelli and Agliano and Acqui Terme's Thermal baths.
