When I was in Dubai, I had the privilege of hanging out and eating with my friend Peyman ( He’s from Dubai, he loves to eat, and he knows some of the best food spots in Dubai. So in this Dubai food tour, we went around and ate Emirati food, rice and lamb, street food, karak tea, and finally ended with home cooked Emirati food at Peyman’s home.
One thing I want to quickly mention, and Peyman and I discussed this in the video as well, is that Emirati food at restaurants is still not very common in Dubai. This is because there are so many international restaurants in Dubai, and local Emiratis typically just eat their food at home. But things are changing and there is starting to be a higher demand for Emirati food in Dubai.
Al Fanar Restaurant - One of the only full Emirati food restaurants in Dubai. We ordered Luqaimat, Tharid, Madrooba, Balaleet. All the food was fantastic, and it’s a nice environment.
Total price - 280 AED ($76.21)
Karak - 0.50 AED ($0.14) per cup - This is originally adapted from India, but it’s a full part of the culture in UAE, and you can get cups of karak tea right to your car.
Al Marhabani Restaurant - Mandi is one of the greatest Arabian food dishes, originally from Yemen. It includes rice and meat that’s traditionally cooked in an underground oven. The lamb here was outstanding.
Total price - 200 AED ($54.44)
Al Labeeb Grocery - Regag bread - This is a little gem of a shop that Peyman took me to. They make some Dubai street food style crepes with cheese and fish sauce, and it’s awesome.
Price - 6 AED ($1.63) each
Machboos - Finally at Peyman’s house for dinner, he cooked machboos, one of the national dishes of UAE. It was a great way to end this Dubai food tour!

Tomb of Aurangzeb (Mughal emperors)
The Tomb of Aurangzeb, the last of the great Mughal emperors, is located in Khuldabad, Maharashtra, India. Aurangzeb is buried in an unmarked grave at the complex of the dargah or shrine of Sheikh Zainuddin.
Aurangzeb (1618–1707), who was the sixth Mughal emperor, ruled most of the Indian subcontinent for half a century until he died in 1707. According to his wish, he was buried near the dargah of Sheikh Zainuddin, his spiritual guru. His great grand father emperor Akbar ruled 50 years
Location
The tomb is located in the village of Khuldabad, in the district of Aurangabad, 24 kilometres (15 mi) from Aurangabad city. It is located in the south-eastern corner of the complex of the dargah of Sheikh Zainuddin.

Description
Aurangzeb died in 1707 at Ahmednagar. His body was then carried to Khuldabad after his son Azam Shah and daughter Zinat-un-Nissa came. There is a platform over the tomb made of red stone, less than three yards in length. There is also a cavity in the middle which measures a few fingers. The tomb has been covered with soil on which herbs grow. After his burial, he was given the posthumous title of Khuld-makan (he whose abode is in eternity). Lord Curzon later covered the site with marble and surrounded it with a pierced marble screen. The tomb is roofed by the vault of the sky. The gateway and the domed porch were added in 1760.
It is said that Aurangzeb paid for his burial place by stitching caps during his last years and that it cost only 14 rupees and 12 annas. The tomb is remarkably simple in keeping with Aurangzeb's own wishes. Aurangzeb's full name is written on a marble plate located in one of the corners of the tomb.
The dargah also houses the tomb of the first Nizam, Asaf Jah I, his son Nasir Jung, and those of Aurangzeb's son Azam Shah and his wife.

It is on World Heritage Tentative Site List By UNESCO Since 1993.

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Old Delhi through the alleys like maze at Jama Masjid is an unknown Library known as Hazrat Shah Waliullah Public Library, an initiative by Delhi Youth Welfare Association.It was founded during 1990 and has a very rare collection of Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Sanskrit, English and Urdu books. There are thousands of books some dating back to early 19th century like Deewan-e-Safar , a poetry book by last Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar. This library opens from 10:00am to 1:00pm and 9:30pm to 11:30pm. People from all the places come to visit the library and to read the precious gift of knowledge that has been stored in a one little roomed library in the corner of Pahari Imli in Chooriwalan near Jama Masjid, Old Delhi.

Srinagar's Lal Chowk market looks straight out of Europe
Traffic passes through the market area of Lal Chowk in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India.
Lal Chowk is a city square in Srinagar in the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. Lal Chowk was named so by Left-wing activists inspired by the Russian Revolution as they fought Maharaja Hari Singh. It is a traditional place for political meetings with Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister, Sheikh Abdullah, Kashmir's first premier and various other Kashmiri leaders having addressed people from it.
It was at Lal chowk that Jawaharalal Nehru unfurled the national flag in 1948. It was here that he promised Kashmiris a referendum to choose their political future. It was in Lal Chowk that Sheikh Abdullah announced his love for Jawaharlal Nehru and India in a Persian couplet saying “Man Tu Shudi, Tu Man Shudi, Ta Kas Na Goyed, Man Degram Tu Degri (I became you and You became I; so none can say we are separate)”.
On 2 November 1947 that Nehru,standing beside Abdullah, addressed thousands and said “The fate of Kashmir will ultimately be decided by the people. We have given that pledge and Maharaja (Hari Singh) had supported it. It is not only a pledge to the people of Kashmir but to the world. We will not, and cannot back out of it,” promised Nehru.
The 1993 Lal Chowk fire refers to the arson attack on the main commercial center of downtown Srinagar, Kashmir that took place on 10 April 1993. The fire is alleged to be started by a crowd incited by militants, while civilians and police officials interviewed by Human Rights Watch and other organisations allege that the Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) didn't provide enough protection to the building and did not allow the police to rescue of people, apparently in retaliation for the burning of an abandoned BSF building by local residents.
Bajaj Electricals built the Clock tower in 1980 with the idea just to make its presence felt in the city centre. For Bajaj, it was a huge advertisement opportunity in Lal Chowk but for Srinagar residents, it was just a fancy tower and a popular landmark with no political symbolism.
The Clock Tower gained political significance in 1992 when the then Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Murli Manohar Joshi came to hoist the Tricolour atop the tower on Republic Day. Joshi’s move brought several militant groups together, uniting them against India. With Kashmiris locked inside their homes, Joshi hoisted the flag in the company of soldiers. He had to be whisked away in haste when a rocket fired by militants landed some metres away from the tower.
Since then, the BSF and the CRPF undertook the hoisting ceremony until 2009 when they announced it was unnecessary to continue the ritual because the tower “had no political significance” and an official function was held at the nearby Bakshi Stadium on Republic day and Independence day anyway.
