American Samoa is an unincorporated territory of the United States located in the South Pacific Ocean, southeast of Samoa. It's location is centered around 14.2710° S, 170.1322° W. It is on the eastern border of the International Date Line, while independent Samoa is west of it. American Samoa consists of five main islands and two coral atolls. The largest and most populous island is Tutuila, with the Manuʻa Islands, Rose Atoll, and Swains Island also included in the territory.     The National Park of American Samoa is a national park in the United States territory of American Samoa, distributed across three islands: Tutuila, Ofu, and Ta‘ū. Of the park's 13,500 acres , 9,000 acres is land and 4,500 acres is coral reefs and ocean. The park is the only American National Park Service system unit south of the equator.
