Villa Aricia, Pissouri bay, Cyprus, Superb sea views, ideal location
This beautiful two bedroom single storey holiday villa is located in arguably the best position in beautiful Pissouri Bay, Cyprus. Superb views, walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants and absolute privacy.

Set in a naturally elevated position the huge picture windows in the living room and master bedroom of this property afford breathtaking views over the Bay which is only some 500 metres away.
A major feature of this lovely villa, in addition to the stunning views, is the unparalleled privacy it enjoys. Two large and totally private terraces lead down to an attractive kidney shaped pool which is accessed via roman steps.
The beauty of the views and the privacy of the garden area have never failed to delight guests at Aricia as the testimonials sent to Getaway Villas show.
Tables, chairs and sun-beds are located in different areas on the various terraces so guests can enjoy a meal on the top terrace, a relaxing time by the pool and a drink overlooking the bay whilst the sun goes down.
The garden areas are beautifully lit at night and the clear late night sky over Aricia is breathtakingly splendid with stars. The peace and tranquillity of the spot is amazing and yet a range of lovely restaurants and bars are within walking distance.
The interior of the villa is spacious, very light and tiled throughout. As well as the huge picture windows which frame the stunning view of the beautiful Bay the living area with a decorative log burner has a superb pitched wooden roof which is a great feature of the room.

Fyti village near Paphos in Cyprus - A road trip from Paphos
Fyti village is about 25kms away from Paphos in Cyprus, and worth a visit if you want to see the old Cypriot tradition of weaving. It's one of the most important villages on the island when it comes to weaving, and the weaves which are made in the village are known as Fithkiotika.
They have a variety of patterns and rich colours. In the small museum you can see thousands of examples of traditionally woven products, along with the looms that make them.
I visited the village as part of a recent road trip around Cyprus. Check out my article on things to do in and near Paphos -

Church (Cathedral) of Saint Lazarus, Larnaca, Cyprus
The Church of Saint Lazarus is a late-9th century church in Larnaca. It belongs to the Church of Cyprus, an autocephalous Greek Orthodox Church. The Church of Saint Lazarus is named for New Testament figure Lazarus of Bethany, the subject of a miracle recounted in the Gospel of John, in which Jesus raises him from the dead. According to Orthodox tradition, sometime after the Resurrection of Christ, Lazarus was forced to flee Judea because of rumoured plots on his life and came to Cyprus. There he was appointed by Paul and Barnabas as the first Bishop of Kition (present-day Larnaca). He is said to have lived for thirty more years and on his death was buried there for the second and last time.

Meine Reiseeindrücke Ausgrabungsstätte Salamis Zypern 2015
Auf den Spuren des Apostels Barnabas, einer Jünger Jesu !
Danke:
