Aparan , is a town and urban municipal community in Armenia, located in the Aragatsotn Province, about 50 kilometers northwest of the capital Yerevan. As of the 2011 census, the population of the town was 6,451. As per the 2016 official estimate, Aparan has a population of around 5,300.

The Kasagh Basilica , formally known as the Holy Cross Church , is an early medieval Armenian church in the town of Aparan in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. It is dated by scholars to the fourth or fifth century. It was originally within the grounds of the Arsacid dynasty palace. The church was partly restored in 1877.

3. The Monastery of Geghard Geghard
Geghard is a medieval monastery in the Kotayk province of Armenia, being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the main chapel was built in 1215, the monastery complex was founded in the 4th century by Gregory the Illuminator at the site of a sacred spring inside a cave. The monastery had thus been originally named Ayrivank , meaning the Monastery of the Cave. The name commonly used for the monastery today, Geghard, or more fully Geghardavank , meaning the Monastery of the Spear, originates from the spear which had wounded Jesus at the Crucifixion, allegedly brought to Armenia by Apostle Jude, called here Thaddeus, and stored amongst many other relics. You do not need prior knowledge or special skills for these flights. Tandem flights are the easiest and safest way to experience a free flight. It involves a pilot flying with a passenger as a shared adventure. You and the pilot have separate harnesses that are attached by spreader bars to the paraglider wing. The purpose of the tandem flight is to enjoy paragliding as a passenger without being the pilot in command.

Արփի լիճը գտնվում է ՀՀ Շիրակի մարզում՝ Աշոցքի սարահարթի հյուսիս արևմուտքում՝ 2025 մ բարձրության վրա։ Ունի տեկտոնահրաբխային ծագում։ Սևանա լճից հետո հանրապետության ամենախոշոր ջրավազանն է։ Սնվում է աղբյուրներից և գետակներից։ Ձմռանը սառցակալում է։ Լճից սկիզբ է առնում Ախուրյան գետը։ Ջրերը օգտագործվում են ոռոգման և էներգետիկ նպատակներով։ Այստեղ բազմանում են ծածան և խրամուլ ձկնատեսակները։ Նրա հայելին զբաղեցնում է ավելի քան 20 քկմ մակերես, ջրահավաք ավազանը 220 կմ² է։1951-ին պատվարվել է և վերածվել Արփի լճի ջրամբարի։ Մինչև ջրամբարի վերածվելը մակերեսը 4,5 կմ² էր, խորությունը՝ 1,6 մետր, ջրի ծավալը՝ 5 միլիոն մ³։
